No other country is better if you are not a complete retard. Places like the UK practically everyone earns under 100k, vast majority under 50k. Meanwhile in the us the top is so much higher it's ridiculous.
Sure it's shit if you're poor/blue collar but really look up the income for your job abroad before bitching constantly
I've got 100k at 20 so obviously doing very well but this is hugely down to luck. Me (and I'm guessing you) wouldn't be rich without it.
In muttica it seems like you can reliably do it though working hard on school, good college and good internships and then being frugal with your stupid income Vs the UK where you'll be old by the time you save a significant amount
I'm not saying it's better overall, the UK is clearly much better for the lower class, but if you're willing to work hard it's not even close
>Not realizing that American salaries are PRETAX, that's why they're so fucking high you brainlet.
Eli Butler
>not realizing the tax brackets across europe are much higher than america's. >not realizing that implenting anything near EU tax brackets in the US would cause massive riots
Zachary Wilson
Yeah I see software engineer salaries in Europe... something like 45k for a senior dev. Just what the fuck
Christian Wilson
I make over 200kUSD/yr and I live quite comfortably, that being said I wish I was a Eurofag. They have a much higher quality of life.
>be born in america >ppl say im lucky >start an online business >make money >"darn it, i wish i was born in america" You literally have the same potential.
Carter Nguyen
Hey, fuck you! They are a very gentle and tender group of people (assuming you're a white 13 year old girl).
Jace Thomas
Both salaries are pre-tax. Btw median american adult salary is rather low 27k usd annual, according to tax returns (not surveys).
Difference is as in switzerland you pay health insurance and pension out of your own pockets, depending how much your employer wants to contribute. Now less than half employers contribute to pensions for example. In europe pensions will be bust too, but current baby boomer generation will have super good pensions provided by governments compared to murican average baby boomer that has no big pension savings. Also government pension is until crave, if you have 401k it's way different and worse
I'm the same user. There should be a digital, global tax arena for online businesses that don't sell physical products from a location. I'm getting JUST'd by taxes and I don't even spend half my time in the US
Ethan Morgan
America is a banana republic on its last legs, or rather a dollar republic. I'm afraid now that shale oil is so cheap that the resource curse will combine with the dumpster covered in gasoline known as the shadow banking system to create moral hazard. The one saving grace has been that american ideas and creativity shape most of the modern world, but as society has become less cohesive and the government steals more and more only time will tell if that is firmly linked to the geography
Jaxon Watson
I'm in Canada, I have a bunch of online games and such I sell, I pay less taxes than somebody in the US because of the US/Can tax treaty.
I pay almost 0 in taxes because I can write everything off as business expenses. Going for dinner? Business meeting. New computer? It's for business. Buy some crypto then it's I'm buying online assets for a game I'm working on, that's a business expense!
Ryan Adams
>only time will tell if that is firmly linked to the geography Why would it be "firmly linked to the geography?" You sound so retarded. Civilizations have risen and fallen throughout history and you're acting like the us is something so special because nobody else ever invented anything or built an empire before. And what makes you think americans today are anything like the ones that built this country in the first place? You know this place started off as a colony of energetic and daring Europeans, right? No the european population is horrendously degenerated and most of the population is non-europeans anyway. This is a different country.
