it’s meant to stop any miner from having a significant advantage. at the moment anyone that has 128gb of ram has an advantage over those that are ssd mining, but still it’s nothing like the advantage that something like asics give to the few that have them. soon 256gb ram will be required, after that 512gb, then 1tb etc. at that stage it will cost a fortune to rent in the cloud and almost everyone will be ssd mining. but the cloud doesn’t necesssarily I e you an advantage, it just means you have money to spend.

I own 3% cause i bought the feely available coins that some fucking short term dumb miner sold to me. I applied for tradeOrge as some others have i heard so expect it to moon hard when it does.

So it solves the ASIC problem but it's still ineffective towards cloudmining. There's still a long way to go, it seems. What is the least powerful CPU one needs? At which point it's a bottleneck and at which point it's overkill?

Per SSD, no matter what size and speed each drive has? My concern is that at some point you might have to replace also the CPUs in your mining rig before you can replace SSDs and RAM with units that have more speed and capacity.
