What’s the point in being rich if the only planes you get to fly are gay ass Cessna’s and Lear jets?

What's the point of sailing a sailboat when you can be a $1B stealth boat?

Even the Sky King lived more during his flight than most of us will our entire lives
Nobody cares about boats unless it’s a thot yacht.
>tfw that could have been me but I went to uni instead cause that was the easy route
... but you can. Anyone with the money can purchase any military fighter jet they can afford. The only thing that is regulated are the weapon systems and some of the advanced radar systems.
Rich people typically aren't going to spend the *thousands* of hours of flight time to shove themselves in a bathtub built for 5'2" manlets. If they want a thrill-ride, they pay to fly with the Angels. Because being rich means you make other people work for you.
when you are young you don't even think about all the interesting careers that exist and parents usually want to push you into some BS dead end office shit because they are lazy brainlets with 0 imagination and money.
Imagine how much of a Chad do you feel after getting out of that thing, you must be radiating with confidence
The Chad Fighter jet pilot Vs The Virgin Cessna enthusiast
imagine getting out of that thing just to get shit on your head by someone with a higher rank. imagine realizing that you will only do exactly what other people tell you to do. imagine being that much of a cuck.

Feels bad. My vision was shit so there’s no way I could have made it. Someone I know transferred into the academy and is now training on some F-series fighter. Jelly as fuck

I would say those are on equal levels, cool in different ways. I would prefer not having to deal with the discomfort of space tbqh
>YFW you'll never be this free
>tfw I wanted to be a pilot
>tfw I was too poor to even take the exams needed to join the AF of my country
at least I didn't end up being an "air trucker" or a military welfare queen
Paul Allen had a MiG-29, though...
maybe you're right. every grown man should have a superior which tells him what to do.
that's true to some degree, that's why every job sucks if you have to do what you're told, even if it was your hobby initially
I'm a porud flat earth believer and a Link holder
Any other biz pilots here?
every man of authority took orders from someone before. Its life and its been this way for all history, everywhere. Grow up
Lmao nato trash planes
I'll never get to fly the true God plane. why couldn't I be born a Russian fml
even kings bow to God
user is just an edgy neet
this. sukhois are pretty yet deadly planes. westerners are afraid of even seeing them.
>tfw not only are there leftist on biz, but now putinpiss babies
i'm sure there'll be lots of these just lying around after the big happening
don't lose faith
you're right, taking orders is what a chad does
Soviet Era best Era
>rEE
die natoshit planes! bambam for mother Russia!
Too bad you can’t even afford a dozen pieces of any of your new gen military hardware. We all know 99% of your military is 1970’s era
Lmao at least they never lost to a bunch of gook farmers
There are numerous civilian owned fighters floating around out there. This one old guy has like three harriers, Paul Allen had a Mig, etc. Plus there's multiple private Migs and Sukhoi's out there as well. I would love to own one but in reality besides going fast and burning a shitload of jet-a there's really not a whole lot you can do with them.
If I had to settle I would absolutely get an unlimited acro plane. I saw the new Gamebird at Oshkosh and it performed great. Or get a highly modified mxs like Rob Holland's. Then I would get a pitts like Skip Stewarts as a backup.
My dad flew a couple of different types of fighters, and owned a couple of acro planes as well, and his opinion is while the fighters are cool, the acro planes make you a better pilot.
I sat in that P-40, it was sick.
You got btfo by literal cavemen
and America got toweled up by the very same goat fuckers that they trained and armed
Lmao
The US has had more opportunities to get fucked in guerilla warfare since we’re not poor and can actually afford to use our military.
>The Chad Fighter jet pilot Vs The Virgin Cessna enthusiast
fucking rofl
shut up fag
Space mission are a lot more regimented though. The launch and re-entry definitely have to be intense, but then again so is going mach 1+ at tree top level.
Checking in here. Fly a Christen Eagle.
Why do soviet fags always have these delusions. Don't get me wrong, I love Migs and Sukhois, but they would get fucked up by an F-22.
Technically speaking you can. You just need to build it yourself first. Look at Elon, he is making rockets, to fly to other planets. If he ever chooses to make a space ship or a jet fighter he may as well have it. Why would the US government sell you an F35 for? Such jet can be armed and if it is not under the army control it poses security risk to the people.
yep... he did it user. He did it.
You can't be a Jet Pilot unless you go to a prestigious school btw.
Lol bullshit.
Best bet is Air Force/Naval academy or enlist after completing a STEM degree and scoring high on exams
Kind of, plus it really depends on what you want to do. The best way to get a guaranteed slot to fly fighters is to interview with a Guard Unit who fly said fighters. Even if you go to the academy there's still a possibility that you could get placed in a bombing or support unit. Being a guard bum is the way to go.
Idk about America but when I was in high school and enlistment officer came to visit and said to be a fighter pilot you basically have to start studying for it at age 16. Anyone that graduated high school not in the top 1% or something wouldn't be considered at all.
That makes sense then.
show me how to buy an f22 user.
i'll wait.
>tfw ywn have it all
milsurp
;)
