Don't you guys realize that splits will keep happening? BTC split into BTC and BCH; BCH will soon split into BCHABC and BCHSV. Soon those will split too, maybe BTC splits again.
0xBitcoin has an immutable smart contract. A split is nearly impossible and pointless, since all consensus rules are determined by Ethereum protocols. 0xBTC will continue to be the deflationary mined currency that everyone seems to want, without any of the nonsense drama. As long as Ethereum continues to work and scale (as is expected), then 0xBTC will continue to be the most useful, most decentralized, and most secure Bitcoin.
i really wish they didnt call it btc, maybe something relating to the eth network would be much less chinky
Joseph Brooks
It's literally bitcoin but on the ethereum chain. When a token like this isn't already over $50 each you know this board is just like 10 paid shills and 15 normies maybe 5 newfags
I have 1314 of these fuckers mined and mine 8 a day, comfy as fuck in my future
Come join the discord you can even chat with their team
Levi King
Why not? The 0x represents that it's on Ethereum and the Bitcoin represents that it follows the mining and scarcity parameters of Bitcoin as laid out in the whitepaper
Nolan Lewis
Last bump, you guys could be missing out on a dreamlike future by laughing with zero knowledge rather than reading the white paper
You can't even speak proper English. 0xbtc allows for instant sending to other wallets, anonymous, and it's like you have the chance to get in on bitcoin while it's under a dollar again.
Landon Gutierrez
This is only the beginning. Cant wait to post these screens next year when you're dead
so you think this is the next bitcoin? im just getting into crypto and dont want to miss out
Leo Young
It's literally got bitcoin's white paper, except it's on ethereum
William Peterson
you said that a year ago. see you then, enjoy your bags
Landon Morales
this thread is really pink
Benjamin Taylor
This shit is going to make me so motherfuckin' rich
Xavier Bell
Who are you guys telling? I'm fucking strapped in.
Evan Clark
The fact that we keeping posting this to help you lurking and dumb fucking posters who can't perceive a real win when you see it is proof Jow Forums has some decency.
It will never be an electronic cash system because it requires ETH to pay gas fees. At that point it's better to just use ETH for the payment.
Lucas Hill
Imagine 10 years from now when you build your own virtual world in Decentraland. 0xBitcoin is the IDEAL currency for such a thing. Keep in mind that VR will most likely be commonplace by then.
This is a looong hodl for me guys, i have a great feeling about the future.
Robert Perez
Don't worry man. Lava Network is already working and you will be able to use 0xBitcoin or any other erc-20 to pay the gas fee. No need for ether.
Its called 0xBTC because it's the philosophical concept of 'bitcoin' and it's original whitepaper ported into Ethereum. The real original BTC started from the BTC genesis block.
From a technological and pragmatic standpoint, 0xBTC is the idea or abstract concept of 'bitcoin'. Literally no it's not , obviously.
P.s. Roger Ver is a dumbass
Evan Richardson
It's definitely not the real Bitcoin, but it's a great iteration of the Bitcoin whitepaper on the Ethereum network. Saying it's the real Bitcoin is just going to piss people off.
At least it's not named after a stupid ass animal like every other coin
Owen Young
once we break this resistance at .003 we'll be at .006 in no time
this is an absolute steal and the easiest buy of my life. lads, if you're on the fence i BEG you to research why this token is special so you can make it too.
I have a chance to deploy a similar contract, what should it be called
Jayden Collins
Is this mine-able on normie hardware rn?
Isaac Gutierrez
Yep, NVidia cards are the best for this. Infernal Toast mines on a 1060
Oliver Gutierrez
>github.com/0xbitcoin/white-paper just glancing through this and found this >0xBitcoin is the implementation of Bitcoin in Solidity and is the >first decentralized ERC20 token for Ethereum ???
Hunter Ramirez
owned
Kayden Green
Are you mining on some dank mlg super computer or would you consider your rig to be normal? asking for a friend
Jeremiah Butler
I have 800, bought @ ~21cents and I am very patient. Am I going to make it?
Justin Lewis
The only real problem with 0xBTC is that you are banking on Ethereum being the platform/dApp/smart contract platform of the future. Basically have to be an Ethereum maximalist.
If you think it will be the best platform coin though then 0xBTC does make a lot of sense, but it will always suffer from the imposter syndrome due to the name.
Samuel Cruz
Yes, you'll make it fren
Tyler Smith
0xBTC is blockchain agnostic
Jacob Ross
we're all going to make it :^)
Kevin Ross
If Ethereum doesn't scale then 0xBTC doesn't scale though.
Hunter Thompson
How much would it cost to take over the network hash of this and just rip through that orderbook every day. Just market sell into the ground. Whats the emission rate?
Mason Gomez
What will you do if eth has a hard fork?
Ryan Jenkins
If Ethereum goes full proof of stake, 0xBitcoin will still remain mineable.
If we hit 1 bn market cap, totally possible for this project, that’s a 1000x.
Isaiah Ross
Isn't 0xbtc minable? All I have to do is mine the most tokens and dump intelligently. You dont have any strong whales. I bet it's cheap as hell. Anyone do the figures?
Hunter Richardson
The mining is used for distribution only, the security of the network is provided by Ethereum since it's an ERC20 token.
Thomas Wright
and desu if you're going to bother 51%ing Ethereum you may as well just do it for Ether at this stage instead of 0xBTC.
Ryder Green
Hahahahahah Oh... You were serious... AHAHHAHAHAHAHAH
Jacob Cook
You don't understand. I don't need to 51% anything. I'm simply going to mine all the tokens ams market sell aggressively.
Luis Anderson
Oh I get ya. Probably accurate then if you got the hash, it'd be a waste of money but possible.
Jason Kelly
You only need a computer with a fairly-recent nVidia or AMD graphics card. NV performs the best right now. The more CUDA cores and clock you can throw at it, the better though
Angel Watson
You can't "mine all the tokens", but we've already seen whales selling for shitty prices, it's old news at this point
Gabriel Perry
Whales are holding tight!
good luck mining all the tokens, whales aren't selling. As 0xBitcoin becomes more mainstream mining difficulty will rise.
The difficulty is already stupid high for the current hashrate
Carson Cruz
How many could I probably mine on a GTX 1060? Worth bothering with?
Cameron Hughes
>mining difficulty will rise. Big yikes. The daily reward for the entire hashrate is worth about $700 right now
Blake Brown
Not true. 0xBitcoin exists on Ethereum, plain and simple. That being said, clones like Bitcoin Classic Token exist as 0xBitcoin but on Ethereum classic. You can make a 0xBitcoin clone on most smart contract platforms, but they won't be the same fungible asset.
That's correct. Every single other ERC20 before 0xBitcoin had 100% of all tokens assigned to the contract deployer.
Correct. 0xBitcoin is dependant on Ethreums's success. Which is a good bet, imo.
Jaxson Reyes
Few coins a day probably
Henry Evans
Sure you can, the more patient you are the more you can mine
Parker Rivera
Holy shit people are actually realizing 0xbtc is legit and reading the white paper/wanting to mine
You're all gonna make it brahs
Sebastian Campbell
In time, they will join us in the sun.
Hudson Cruz
utterly wrong. plenty of deployed ERC20 tokens have dynamic supplies, many of them without an exchange of value towards the contract owner. there was that potato token a few months before the cryptokitties craze for example. not that a newfag who joined the space in 2018 and is desperate to "buy bitcoin at $1" would know that read that again. 0xbtc shills are literally the discord version of XRP twitter normies
Isaiah Barnes
BTW, AMD cards can mine just fine too but they just aren't quite as fast compared to a memory-hungry algorithm is
