You don't understand how paid marketers on Reddit's cryptocurrency sub work. People are tired of the shills, so they've taken it up to the next level. What they do then is start "discussion" topics like this where they make a list, and to add legitimacy to it they'll add the titans of cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and some other popular, well-founded ones like XLM or XMR. The ones that are basically true shitcoins, though? Those are the ones he's trying to recruit new bagholders for. The hope is that people will look at the list, see the established cryptos, and think "Oh, this guy knows what he's talking about, hmm, he must know something about these other cryptos that I don't..." That's the gist of it. It's all a marketing scam.

The tech is solid, they are just fucking up as they are never going to allow public file sharing due to legal implications , so it's only real use right now is for backups and cold storage in DR scenarios .
