I went to bump the thread this morning but it archived. Great stuff in the last thread. DEC I'll cap your wisdom to the user in the last thread and add to the dropbox. Hope it's helping some anons out. Please check previous threads for inspiration. Ask any questions and hopefully an user can help. Be polite but tough love is welcome. Tripfag if you are frequent or want to, or don't it's up to you.

If you have any comprehensive guides. Post them and we'll add them here.
Feel free to add more and share your knowledge, experience, advice with others, but I think that's a lot of value that you won't find in most threads here.
The guy suggesting writing to work from home in the last thread. How to git gud? Someone suggested technical writer to me awhile back. Any resources on that? Thanks

I'm an indie game developer in my spare time. Almost finished a 2 year RPG project with my programmer (in the designer and artist). Got about 4 months to release and about 300 wishlist on Steam with an average conversion rate across my previous games of 20%.
What's the smartest way to market from now until release outside of my usual twitter posting?
Nolan Baker
Working on becoming a youtuber and writer for gardening topics. Any advice?
Release early versions to big let's play youtubers maybe? That's how a lot of other indie games do it, or word of mouth eventually reached those youtubers.
Jackson Young
Can you elaborate more? Like the connection between technical writing and shakespeare.
James Watson
Combine that with landscaping, then shill your services and dropship gardening equipment at the same time.
Hudson Gray
>dropship ...
Kevin Lopez
Already did with a free demo back in March. That's where our current wishlist came even though it isn't all that big. If we can have a "near final" build up on Steam in the next two months then I'll probably push out hundreds of codes to reviewers, websites, streamers, LPers, etc. I really want to build up to about 500 wishlists or so before release. Marketing is definitely my week area!
Matthew Turner
Sell, affiliate marketing whatever you call it...that was not the point you spastic.
Ian Thomas
What about Facebook ads? Or maybe you could find someone on fiverr to shill on forums for you. They do it here in biz lol. I have no personal exp with fb ads but I've heard you can specifically target the type of people who will most likely buy your game.
Dylan James
Maybe kickstarter? Even if it flops, you'll spread the word. What's the game? And your marketing budget?
Jack Phillips
Most YouTubers for gardening i see are mostly educational, have fairly big gardens, teach you stuff. Have you researched what they are doing and what you could do differently? Maybe have a niche where you grow rare or hard to grow plants?
Ryan Reed
How do you start affiliate marketing for a niche you don't know anything about?
Juan Smith
i buy vintage clothing and antiques. how can i make this model work better than etsy or ebay. im not gonna open a shitty brick and mortar with low foot traffic. I want to thrift and hunt full time, any advice?
Charles Ward
That sounds super comfy. Thrifting can be a lot of fun. Check the link in op for the last thread. There was a few posts briefly talking about flipping/restoring antiques. Towards the bottom of the thread
Blake Lewis
setting aside my maths research to instead participate in some free market fire sales today, lol. I‘ve got contracts on GE, KO, SPY, and some cash to scoop up bitcoin. I know entg doesn‘t like market investing because of all the shit that flies here daily, but I think it‘s currently the easiest way to make some money right now.
Adam Moore
Look a blogs that do that same niche and learn from them
Josiah Jenkins
Calls or puts? I want to get into option trading but I’m indecisive
Zachary Thomas
credit spreads, basically puts but a little bit safer. It does cap your gains sadly, but again it‘s usually a safer bet to make.
Blake Powell
Anyone have recommendations for good credit cards? The user in the last thread kind of got me interested. Once I have good credit, I'm going to look into that solar farm stuff he was talking about. Renting out land acreage to solar companies. Never had a credit card before. Probably won't get one until I start waging again though. Thanks dudes.
Juan Miller
sounds neat would love to talk about this more with anons, must have been a different thread.
I've been slowly immersing myself into option subreddits, like r/wsb. it honestly seems easy to gain money, and lose too lmao. have you unironically lost it all?
Austin Peterson
bros Im losing 80 dollars, and counting, on this crypto crash wat do
Been lurking these threads for a while. I must say that the atmosphere here is great - not very Jow Forums-like, which is a compliment. Anyhow, I think I've got a dream of sorts: I'd like to be able to teach English, business English to be precise. Graduated this year, yet I've never had this type od course at uni. Spoko, yeah. Got some books from the library. All I need to do is have enough self-determination to learn this all by myself. Not even sure why I'm writing this. Just wanted to shareware, I guess. Keep on rockin guys
Justin Johnson
im not a craftsman but thats neat. Im mainly looking to get into vintage wholesale and try to make a living at this but not sure how to do this beyond slowly listing on ebay.
Bentley Smith
What could a literal nobody such as myself do from home to start making some money?
I don’t mind investing a bit but I have no education, talent, or creativity, so it’s not like I could start making furniture, designing websites, writing articles or teaching English.
Landon Bailey
Besides brick and mortar, idk you may have to approach people or businesses who may be interested. Find every local app possible to list your products on. Letgo, craigslist, ebay, just heard of nextdoor app, puttung ads in the paper. Maybe selling to an antique store. No personal exp. just trying to give you options. Maybe find collectors online. Happy to have you friend. I think people here want to be treated like normal people, I know Jow Forums can be fun for shitting on each other, especially on biz, but trying to keep things chill and comfy here. When you get excited about something of course you want to share it and be validated in some way, go for it. Whatever you want to do take the leap! You're welcome here, check the Dropbox in OP for any advice or ideas from previous threads. Good luck dude and thanks
Jesus the rest of biz is collapsing. Rarely venture from this thread so it feels insulated. Sorry coinbros at least you can buy the dip. :(
Luke Mitchell
that why investing in shitcoins isn't listed on /entg/ lmao
Brody Watson
Yeah lol It's a great time to collect ocmemes snd pink wojaks though
Mason James
no i haven't lost it all lol. I'm a pretty faggy "investor" but i'm net positive on all of my trades. I would definitely recommend 10/10 for every body, both on this board and irl, to play at least one low-risk options trade.
Adrian Martin
forgot im not phoneposting anymore lol here's my trip
Ian Williams
Im about to launch some SaaS
