I actually applied to do a Diploma in New Media and Web Development. I want to learn how to create convincing photoshops, edit and build websites, be able to plan a video production to be advertisement worthy in an organized professional manner. Above all, I just want to learn new skills that I can apply in or out of work; like freelancing on the side.

My current work as a waiter is wholy dependent on my location and is physically tied to the venue itself. So ultimately, I am looking to enhance marketable skills that can be applied to endevours that earn money and not tethered to geography.

I actually quit 3 jobs these past 6 years. First one due to moving location, 2nd one due to unethical practices from my company and 3rd one due to location move.

I've demonstrated to have had performance awards. It can't just be an age thing. If a company just wants to hire young people then it's a sign they're just looking for some young naive kid from school they can brainwash to be a corporate drone.

In all honesty, I would choose a wagecuck drone, who has internalised the delusion of tolerating or even being happy with the wage life.

It's not gonna make the difference in most cases and in general the guy who does better in the interview process would get the job. However, if two candidates are weighted equally, a younger applicant with the same credentials will be favoured simply because he is doing g the same work and requiring less time off.

Older students get stupid advantages as well though. At my uni, senior citizens pay nothing for tuition. Seems like a retarded investment considering that giving that money to a younger student would mean that their education would contribute to a society for a longer period of time.
