Should I bump up my link stack?

I have about 1500 dollars in bitcoin which may be declining, meanwhile my chainlink bag has been growing for the last few months and looks to be almost breaking out. Am I wrong to just all in Link or should I just play it safe and hold the bitcoin. I have almost 10k stinkies already but I am really considering just going balls deep. Really doubting myself here.

No. For God's sake, just stop playing with internet money. Someone needs to tell you this. How about investing in a business, in precious metals, in real estate? Try that. Diversify. If more than 20% of the money you have saved is in crypto of any kind, you're doing it wrong. You're probably doing it wrong if you have a dime in crypto, but hey, risks make the world go around and occasionally pay off - particularly when other people are willing to buy into the same fad and you get your timing just right.

>bitcoin only going down
>link only going up
You've answered your own question OP.

Thanks people, I don't have most of my money in crypto so I won't be completely fucked if I get it all wrong. I'm being blinded by lambo's here and think link has a greater upside. Fuck it I might see how the week goes and if it dips pick up a few more. Thanks

never change biz

newfags get the fuck out

Drunkanon here. I am not drinking right now and not going to stick around for a thread but am disappointed in the collective autism of biz that missed something really big related to chainlink. The Open Source Strategy Forum was this week and had a big announcement.

finos.org/deg

Amber Baldet is going to be one of the biggest reasons Chainlink gets mass adopted by the financial industry. She headed JPMorgan's blockchain unit and worked directly with IC3 and Ari Juels for years. She sees a larger opportunity than heading a JPmorgan unit in offering a BAAS service, Clovyr. Clovyr's teaser already shows it will offer Town Crier which is now under the Chainlink umbrella. Chainlink was also pretty much guaranteed. She has been a speaker at finos events for two years.

Finos is the who's who of the finance industry. I am not sure how much math you would like me to do but you guys should have fun with this one, and its implications. Follow Finos, Clovyr, and all members closely. For example take a look at this IHS (partnered with Clovyr who will offer Chainlink as an oracle) infographic

cdn.ihs.com/www/pdf/1118/IHSMBlockchainImplementationInfographic.pdf

How many direct chainlink use-cases do you see? Sorry for the essay but can't stick around for a whole thread but hopefully this weekend or Monday. In the meantime this little bit of info should open some larger doors for you to connect dots to how imperative Chainlink will be.

>newfags

i saw the bubble come and go. its over. the money isn't in the coins themselves, its in the blockchain technology. any IT nerd can create a new coin now. pretty soon there'll be an app for that.

Thank you based not drunk drunkanon

appreciated, drunkanon

drunkanon moon when?

WHO ARE YOU

You are a good man

holy shit, much appreciated

What was the open source strategy forum big announcement?

Good idea to diversify but stick with blue chip high dividend, funk real estate unless you enjoy that work

A lot of people involved seem to have roots in the past at JPM.

too bad few to none of these organizations have any interest in using the public ethereum blockchain. It's good exposure for chainlink but it's like ripple in that the public token just won't get used.

If the finance industry is in I want nothing to do with it, untrustworthy industry, would rather stick with Internet pyramid scam drug dealers

Thanks soberanon

stay poor then fag

The only tokens that get used are the ones drug dealers and hookers accept

You don't need transactions to run on Ethereum at all, The chainlink network won't make sense to run entirely privately either.

Fuck me, look at them. Legit huge banks etc.
Mate chainlink is blockchain agnostic. It works with all chains not just Ethereum. Take your stale fud and leave if you have no autism to contribute.

Hey enjoy your trip to the casino, we all know how this ends, with everyone saying they wish they never heard of you

Chainlink is fucking targeting the finance industry and always has been you retard. Why do you think they work hand in hand with SWIFT. Stupid newfag.

so i should buy now link or wait for tomorrow because eth will bomb again

yea so it can run on a permissioned version of ethereum as well as hyperledger, neither of which will let you run a node for them, thus you can't run a chainlink node nor earn tokens. I don't think you understand what blockchain agnosticism is.

I haven't been checking crypto since it all dumped after the bull run early this year. Should I dump my 100k VET into Link or just stop looking at biz again?

It's always a good time to buy more link. If you can afford link, you should be buying link.

>THEY ARENT FALLING FOR MY FUD ANYMORE WHY WHY WHY WHYYY

no fud, I'd be tickled if you could provide any sources that say any of the organizations drunkanon brough up (or others) have expressed any interest in using the public ethereum blockchain. Everything I've ever seen says they're using quorum or permissioned versions, like what kaleido is use for. I'll go ahead and say AXA Fizzy just to get that out of the way though.

>like what kaleido is use for
which in turn uses Chainlink

Both

Chainlink can report back to a closed Blockchain just as easily as it can to a public Blockchain. Just because chainlink tokens change hands on Ethereum doesn't mean any meaningful data is recorded there. You really don't understand show this works at all.

So you're saying chain link is good stuff? Do Internet drug dealers and hookers accept it as payment?

Has anyone noticed that there's a sort of atmosphere of defeat behind all the fudders now, including this guy whose way of fudding I recognise?
Chainlink fud has really lost its enthusiasm. I get the sense that with every price bump and barely existent pullback a little bit of wind goes out of their sails. You can see with this guys posts that even he's not feeling it like he was a couple of weeks ago.
I just picture some guy dragging himself to his computer for another fud session, and what was a few weeks ago an enthusiastic Monster-powered fud fest is now just a seemingly hopeless chore.
I don't feel for you or anything, you people are fucking annoying, but it's interesting to see your spirit fade.

chainlink isnt currency you fucking idiot. some of you people are so new

all in link boyo. I got out of bitcoin with all of this uncertainty.

ITS A FUCKING 2 MAN TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY WOULD SOMEONE BUY CHAINLINK WHEN THEY CAN JUST COPY THE CODE AND MAKE THEIR OWN FUCKING ORACEL YOU STUPID CUNTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

NO COURT WILL UPHOLD SMART CONTRACTS ANYWAY WHICH LEAVES CHAINLINK ASTROLUTELY BTFO.

CHANGE MY MIND - YOU CANT

Do you understand that to run a chainlink node you have to run a full ethereum node? . you cannot run a chainlink node on any blockchain that you are not allowed to run a node on, thus you can't accept jobs nor get paid... I really don't understand why this concept is so difficult for you all to understand. I guess because you've never tried running a node yet? Or just don't understand blockchain in general?

yes, but using chainlink nodes with only people with permission to run nodes on that chain. What do you think Kaleido is?

You do realize you can't have that many LINK without owning the same amount of LINK?

Attached: 1523332111231.png (988x704, 66K)

thanks based sobernon

Theres only two people working on the project. I read about it in reddit

Running a node on ethereum has nothing to do with where the aggregated node answers can be sent to. Thats the whole point of adapters you swing trading linklet, so that it can report back to whatever smart contract on whatever chain they are using the network for

aaaah good times..

no offense, but you're completely wrong. you're trying to understand though, so that's better than a lot of people ITT

>U r rong

Genius.

How long til we make it? I just want to feel the touch of a woman...

>but using chainlink nodes with only people with permission to run nodes on that chain

>he doesn't understand what a TEE is this late in the game

wew

Then can you explain why its wrong? Did you actually read the whitepaper? Do you know that technically, Chainlink can already work as an oracle for IOTA due to the adapter?
