I guess there's grind-heavy stuff too, I had a coworker who was constantly lurking OfferUp for PCs and parts, taking the best deals, and reselling whatever he didn't wanna keep. Sometimes he'd find a small business or contractor closing shop or upgrading everything, so they're selling shit just to recoup a bit of cost while getting rid of it asap, and on top of that he'd typically haggle them down by offering to take most or all of the shit. Might be viable to get your escape-egg a bit bigger.

Why haven't you gotten into independent webdev? I've been drraming of it. I feel like as long as you grab a niche vertical, figure out how to market to them, and get a good portfolio/a few sample sites you can milk it for a good while.

More importantly the work itself is a lot more grueling than the finished product would ever have you think, and I get the sense that it really changes your mentality and tendencies when it comes to sex, but if you're willing to sacrifice the ability to cum without jackin it and you find trustworthy producers it's good money.

I have family and friends I try to talk to more often so I don't lose it. Going out in public is a lot more difficult though. Right now I'm financially okay, I have lots of savings and am doing odd jobs for extra cash. It's just not constantly being out in the world that makes me regress into my shyness and hikki ways.

mm yea i can say the latter is definitely a positive. I didn't really start getting my shit together as an adult until I started keeping personal finances like I was a business entity, and just seeing how all sorts of my life were being fucked over. There's no worse feeling than organizing all of your accounts and seeing the massive debt you've nonchalantly pile-drive'd yourself into. Partly the reason I became an accountant, so I can help others avoid the mistakes I made.

As great as audiobooks are (and i use them a lot more often than i read), you really suffer by not having a physical book that you can refer to and refresh your memory. So unless you plan on listening to it multiple times, my suggestion is to do what i do and summarise the most important aspects of the book and print it out (can usually fit them all on one A4 page).
I find that if i don't do this, the more i consume the more i forget the particulars of each book/chapter I've listened to.
