>ICOs are dead
Thank you based SEC. That shit is awful for long-term viability of crypto

>to recovers the consideration paid for such security with interest thereof

holy shit, ICOs absolutely and ultimately BTFO and rekt

No shit. This is old news by now

that's only true for icos that accepted US investors.
Did chainlink accept US buyers?

>performing an ICO is fatclapistan

they deserved it

>icos that accepted US investors
And likely for any ICO that made not substantial efforts to not serve US customers...

>And likely for any ICO that made not substantial efforts to not serve US customers...
IP block on a website would be probably enough.
EOS is the most likely target given how big they were. If they go after them it would be an enormous shit show.
They already sold all their eth so it would hurt eos exclusively.

>that's only true for icos that accepted US investors.
>Did chainlink accept US buyers?
Was not open to American investors,. You had to check a box saying you weren't from a few different countries, us being one. This type of agreement is called. A click wrap and is usually held up in court , even if someone from the us clicks the box and participates.

Chainlink accepted US investors. I'm hoping SEC gets involved so I can get my ico money back

If you bought into an ICO after December/January and got adjusted you shouldn't be surprised

youtube.com/watch?v=6AJCFH9k3_U

If only CL is based in cayman islands..

Good thing this won’t happen to link.

Attached: 3759F693-4A35-42D8-B2C2-1AD033FFF2D0.jpg (1413x1016, 428K)

no they didn't. and even if they did, what do you think sec can do when chainlink is based on cayman islands? you amerimutts are stupid.

Attached: 1519869354123.png (886x564, 20K)

that's not relevant, because breaking securities law is a criminal matter. Sergey and other employees are in the US.
They aren't that aggressive though, SEC seems content with small fines.

All in all the ICO boom was a tremendous waste. So much money with close to zero results.
>also checked

Good thing this won't happen to 0xBitcoin.

Attached: HardworkvsThinAir.png (1200x500, 79K)

I will lobby congress until sergey is in jail
disgusting preforming a scam against the innocent american public

>ICO
>Now there's a term I haven't heard in 20 years
^ Everybody on this board in 20 years

fuckin checked
Chainlink hq in cayman islands EOY

those were low hanging fruit. lets see who they go after next.

obviously you dont understand us law. How do you think US can get to FIFA or other multinationals. As long as they did any business over any US bank they are liable to US laws.

Hopefully these lazy fucks

Attached: IMG_2883.jpg (225x225, 7K)

they arent even lazy, those were just straight up scam artists. Yes i forsee alot of fuckers going to jail.
Probably using their 5 years of partying with hookers and snorting coke off their butts to fill their memories for the 30 years they are going to be spending in prison.

It's not based in the USA and did not sell tokens to USA investors. Moreover it has NEVER promoted its token as something that will increase in value over time. Compare to Tron or Vescam which fucking retweet other peoples' price predictions.

There's literally nothing for the SEC to pursue re: Chainlink.

Wasn't Paragon that weed one where the "CEO" was some model chick and biz leaked her nudes here of her getting fucked in the shower or something? kek at SEC coming down on them

You didn't required KYC to participate in Chainlink ico if i remember correctly. this could be a big deal in the future.

This, only the smart ICO's kept burgerlards out of investing. Those that did and didn't promote price hype will make it. Look for these projects anons.

its funny to see self described cypherpunks and the maximalist core supporters cheering SEC enforcement. they do it under the guise of wanting to protect others from losing money but they only want you making money if you buy btc. i hope their dreams of being the new btc elites never happen.

I think the EU is going to get involve too and eventually they will piss off the wrong Chinese investor.
many ICOs were scams that sold smoke

Lol, Chainlink never went below ico fiat value (the value SEC is tracking) EVER in its entire life. If you want a refund at ico fiat value you are probably a brainlet trader who has traded his breakeven price into the moon

I unironically reported Chainlink to the SEC after reading this.

eos used an IP block on their website

Phase two of crypto regulation enforcement could involve taxes, money laundering, sanctions, and many more areas that could create a more difficult and impractical ecosystem for cryptocurrency companies to operate in.

ccn.com/50-million-ico-lands-crypto-lender-salt-in-hot-water-with-sec-wsj/

Crypto Loan Provider SALT under SEC Investigation

The Wall Street Journal reports that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in February sent a subpoena to SALT seeking its information about its $50 million token sale, which was conducted last year amid the ICO boom

This is just the beginning, the majority of ethereum's mc has been built on people purchasing eth to take part in ICOs, think how many of those ICOs were scams. These scam merchants are going to burn and it will be fucking glorious.

Conventment are being looked into too.

Binance is constantly allowing US buyers to buy and sell Link.

So yeah, it's pretty much fucked.

Some lawyer user thinks they registered it with the SEC and likely recently got approval which is why they are out at conferences

Can someone pls sue that scam ICO Sparkster? I need my money back from these crooks.

Only a matter of time before China, Japan and US literally gang rape Binance.

>Conventment
Man, how the hell did people fall into that scam?

those early adopters are already rapidly becoming the new elites. can't say that about anybody that's buying funding tokens.

>price is currently 5x ICO price
>Sergey has 66% of the tokens in his control

Link is beyond safe from this shit

God, I hope this scammers burn.
Not a burger, so no idea how your Institutions work:
Where so you get the information that they are under Investigation. Wanna see how this plays out

It's pretty amazing to think about it, 100s of ICOs shilled now far below ICO price, but the one that Jow Forums shilled is currently 4x ICO and has never dipped below.

LINK has no responsibility to Binance and vice versa.

Good things most smart ICOs didn't take money from muttslaves.

(((stein)))

legit ICOs banned amerifats you brainlets
good luck suing non scam ICOs retards

this is unironically bullish. it reduces the supply of crypto, making the existing crypto more valuable.

>that's not relevant
lol

Eth would be sold off wouldnt it?

hah, i reported paragon to SEC back in oct 2017. anonymous tip. filled out the lengthy form.

Attached: nize.jpg (1000x800, 81K)

We can use the cash we got in December to buy in at 50 usd eth.

Yep, 0xBitcoin wins again. The encouraging news keeps rolling in, sooner or later people are going to start piecing the puzzle together.

heh, they're spinning the SEC settlement as a positive thing:
paragoncoin.com/paragon-reaches-settlement-with-the-u-s-securities-and-exchange-commission

there's no stopping these people. they'll go full retard until the end. $12 mil for an LA "co-working space" location and a team of people to build a fucking website.

>BTC drops
>SEC handles ICO's as securities and fines unregistered dExchanges
>Suddently need for legal jurisdiction for crypto
>BTC ETF

>believes only the US enforce law
>not going to make it

Is "The Land of The Free" one of those tongue in cheek jokes or something? I always though burgers were serious about that shit.

used to be

>The term ‘‘security’’ means any note, stock, treasury stock, security future, security-based swap, bond, debenture, evidence of indebtedness, certificate of interest or participation in any profit-sharing agreement, collateral-trust certificate, preorganization certificate or subscription, transferable share, investment contract, voting-trust certificate, certificate of deposit for a security, fractional undivided interest in oil, gas, or other mineral rights, any put, call, straddle, option, or privilege on any security, certificate of deposit, or group or index of securities (including any interest therein or based on the value thereof), or any put, call, straddle, option, or privilege entered into on a national securities exchange relating to foreign currency, or, in general, any interest or instrument commonly known as a “security”, or any certificate of interest or participation in, temporary or interim certificate for, receipt for, guarantee of, or warrant or right to subscribe to or purchase, any of the foregoing.
legcounsel.house.gov/Comps/Securities Act Of 1933.pdf

So how is Paragon a security?

lol yeah would be amazing

airfox also especially seems to be in no way a security other than in the sense that the SEC says all ICOs are securities. This should be the most troubling thing. There seems to really be no reason whatsoever why they were targeted or what they did that was so egregious to be one of the first non-outright scams to be targeted. It seems as if nothing with an ICO is safe now that this has happened.

Right how the fuck do I sue Jez San for stealing my money with Funfair. How do I Request my money back from those frogs? How do I sue Justin for JUSTing me with Tron. How do I gook the gooks who gooked me with ICON and NEO.

>Chainlink accepted US investors. I'm hoping SEC gets involved so I can get my ico money back
>I hope the SEC gets involved so my LINK tokens can lose their 500% over ICO value and I can get my 9 cents per LINK back

imagine being this braindead

0/10 nigger

One can only hope

Attached: IMG_3243.jpg (404x623, 85K)

I know most people are broadly-speaking against government regulation/interference, for obvious reasons..
But I don't really disagree with this, A lot of ICOs are a blatant cash-grab. They have a project and they want to finance it, so they incorporate a token into the project, so they can get the finance.

Many people have questioned why Chainlink need a dedicated link token to function - why couldn't it function with Ether instead?
The answer is that they needed their own token for the cash-grab.. i am not saying chainlink is a scam, and the money will be used to buy custom made Lamborghinis for Sergey (obesity).

t. brainlet

ICOs are VC fuckery, and already killed the cypherpunk aspect of blockchain, they are literally digital security offerings under a new guise.

can't wait to see the REQ faggots going bankrupt and then going to prison. will be a glorious day

is this an attempt to make prices drop?
I think it's easier if you plant some heroin into sergay's shirt pockets

hopefully the scammers and employees are made liable for LIFE to pay it back

This.

I'm a bagholder and I want to see these fuckers forced to dissolve their fraudulent foundation and return all of the ETH.

Attached: 1516895948714.jpg (689x600, 66K)

>return all of the ETH.
It's probably all gone by now user

Nah, you deserve to be poor for being retarded.

So the French faggots will have to pay by other means: by sharing their assholes with some other affectionate inmates.

Attached: 1522696973807.png (900x677, 885K)

A friend works closely with the SEC. If you lost money you should come forward. The more people that do so, the stronger the case against them

Many wouldn't be able to pay back.
1: They made costs
2: Price of ETH token declined.

F U

Do you guys think Sparkster will get sued? I can't believe I invested in this scam

Post the nudes

>1 result
>chainlink

>dirty pajeets are getting assblasted that they can run risky portfolio's on the dream of one coin going up 2000%
Can't wait for institutional money to arrive so I can stop looking at scamcoins and just leverage myself out the ass

so can I buy the tokens cheap now and get a refund at ico price later? hows that work?

What happened there, user?
