I went thru 2 of them but it was the automatics i think those are the ones that suck, the manuals are fine. S2k has one of the best gear box feels

this. my heart was broken when i found out. I have an 03 accord that is literally indestuctible (except the roof has a hole in it and I have to remove the rear windshield to repair it and it's gonna cost like $50 bucks in primer/seals). I was thinking buying another accord but I won't touch anything with a fucking turbo. and you can only get a manual trans in the fucking sport package. Honda used to make t heir lowest trim levels available with a manual for the cheapest, most reliable shitboxes on wheels. Now they're a fucking meme company.

If you fuck up your manual transmission you can replace your clutch for a couple hundred bucks and your car will run like new. If your automatic breaks you need a new car.

Can confirm, CVT is just fine. If you're looking for a fast car, buy an all-analog, manual transmission S2000 and stfu.
