Aggresive mutual fund advert campaigns popping up

pic title translation:
>Slovakians have €17billions of cash just idly laying around. How to appreciate them? Like this.
subtitle transl.:
>*Investing can be done without fear*

In the past 4-5 weeks till now more and more advertisings like this by big germany-based banks are picking up in every major newspaper in my county Slovakia. I want to ephasize how the banks basically never ever advertised their mutual funds to normies in newspapers during the whole period of 10 years of the bullmarket. Now I see them every few days on the frontpages. They are lengthy sponzored articles about how safe they are and how the profits are guaranteed. This is how I know the biggest bull definitely ended in september and bear has barely started.

Big banks are desperate for liquidity to get out and aggressively pushing their shittiest funds on clueless normies without a clue of what is now happening in markets, the most vulnerable poor souls that never invested before and will panic sell the absolute bottom of the stock market in 12-18 months from now.

I would like to ask fellow anons from poland, hungary, bulgaria, romania etc. if they also have buy-my-bags campaign from big boys pushed them now.

How to *steal?

FTFY

Desperate lol.
>Please, poorfags... Gather up your loose change to buy our garbage... Please... These bags are so heavy

> I would like to ask fellow anons from poland, hungaria, bulgaria, romania...

Same shit in the holy land of Czechia user.

thank you for your input. I work in prague past 2.5years, but I didn't want to comment on sentiment in other countries. I want natives to express their observations here

Pretty sure it's the same if not worse, it has been going on for years in countries like Ukraine

Maybe slighlty related or maybe its just banks being shitheads as usual but i've seen incessant advertising from Experian and Funding Circle. One lets you check your credit score the other lets you borrow money as a business via p2p.

Now there is nothing wrong with eithet service, quite the opposite but what happens is that they then sell on your info to credit card companies that basically pre-approve you for credit and spam you with card ads.

Nothint inherently wrong again, BUT it does certainly give me the feeling that people are running out of ideas to extract money via traditional ways

I just get this overally feeling that a lot of people made money in the last 10 years through markets and easy ROI options are drying up so it's becoming a race to the bottom to lend money.

Haven't seen anything like this in Poland

Nothing like this in France neither, nor in Italy last time I went there.

There is massive shilling in Germany aswell. Social Media, Newspapers, posters on the street. Everybody want to shill their fucking fund or insurance or marketing scheme now more than ever. Im not sure if this is it or we are in a giant bear trap and we will soon encounter normie money floating the market and skyrocket with mass hysteria.
But Im tilting more to hypercrash

German banks are totally fucked, it's probably something like this.

Slováci sú sprostí a zožerú to.

okay seems like a crash is coming soon-ish, but what will btc price do then? go up as fiat money loses value?

there is a reason for this. Italy, UK, France population has the biggest proportion of average population being invested in at something at least partially. Population of these countries are used to and familiar to the idea of investing on financial markets and most of them have some idea that market cycles exist.
On contrary, people in post-socialist mid-europe population are notorious for not investing their free resources at all and just stockpiling them on regular bank account with 0.15% yearly interest rate. They are absolutely clueless about even basics of market dynamics and so are the perfect fodder to offload your bags onto when market is topping/reversing down.

Bank funds are drying up so they try to scam normies and take their savings

My business partner's daughter works for a big bank. During the 2008 crisis the bank would order all their workers to push for these shitty invest funds, asking 25k from their clients knowing fully well it was a toxic investment and the client would lose it all. They are basically passing the scam they fell in onto their clients to recoup their money

German banks are dead

>Italy
>Population used to invest
Pick one bro, my cunt is african-tier when it comes to financial education (silent gen-millennials and zoomers) and back when boomers "invested" it was just because the rates on our lirabonds were in the double digits (with single digit inflation). That's as much as you will ever hear, not to mention the taxes on stocks, etfs, mutual funds or p2p p2b lending are 25% minimum and about 55% tops.

a family friend who is some kind of big shot at a bank told my mom 2 weeks ago something along the lines: "if the banks call you and try to convince you to invest...don't. The people calling know they are selling shit, but they have to do their job."

Oy vey.
"Why are Slovaks crippled by financial illiteracy."
(Goy you are illiterate and stupid, let me help you by buying those bags)

I started to see large billboards featuring forex last month lol

Havent noticed any mutual fund adverts in Bulgaria, but we got burned bad by this kinda shit in the 90s so most people wont trust them anyway.
First time I saw an IPO advert on TV this year.

zapajanie retailovych 2-20 eurovych investorov je znakom bliziaceho sa doomu

Aj v US su tieto reklamy vsade

yea think so too. german banks are under pressure and looking for new customers and liquidity
most markets have gone down 10-25% by now so the bubble has left some air out

if the stock market is in just another correction (S&P500 max. 15-17% and then back up again) btc will find bottom at range $2900-3800 then sideways until new halvening.
HOWEVER, if we are entering into a true global recession, where S&P500 will go full bear for upcoming 12-18months to offset the unprecedented 10 year bull of stocks. Then you need to realize the implication of the fact that since inception, bitcoin existed only in era of global bull market. If this is going to be real bear market in stocks, bitcoin will correct even harder to the point of $900-1300, because then the 10 year existence of bitcoin would be on of whole btc grandcycle, where the 2017 was an extended wave 5 of btc's 10y grandcycle and we would be in for a correction of grandcycle that started around $1, which would result in bottom of $900-1300.
So if you want to know which one of these two options is most likely to happen, pay close attention to US stock market and do not pay attention to idiots who still thinks crypto lives in uncorrelated vacuum.
Crypto is the most speculative asset of all, and during global recessions long as 9-18 months, the most speculative assets are liquidated as first to pay bills, mortgages, depts and survive during layoffs, unemployments during recession.

My bank tried to sell me insurance+fund back in January, the promised return was too good to be true so I don't trust it, not long ago the insurance went bust and asked for a bailout.

Assume you buy link at 0.2 for 1000 BTC. And you accumulated those 1000 BTC of link over long time. Now you want it to pump. But when it reached 1$ you want to sell. Who will buy link
worth 1000 BTC. No sane trader will as they will know whats up. What you need is normies to offload your bags. This is the phase where shilling starts.

why is it that every time i see foreign money like this i just see it as completely worthless "play money" that has no actual value at all? is it because fiat is typically backed by the issuing governments military and that not a single military in the world could successfully take on the american military? is that why only US dollars matter the most? is that why deluded foreign fags fake currency is worthless? i think so...

Ja som predal 80% stacku v januári.

it is getting more aggressive. My good 67yo mother was calling me 4 weeks ago that she got an offer from bank for "stavebne sporenie" with "3% guaranteed interest" and whe would like to put there the money she is saving for me since child for when I will marry, around €10k. I was absolutely shocked by the atrociously misleading conditions of contract in the small print. (3% yes but only on 1/3 of your capital only during 1st year, other 2/3 must go into bank's mutual fund with 1.2% managing fee and 1.5%pa past performance during THE BEST BULL YEARS). I was begging my good mother to pull out all her money back to her cash accounts, thank God she took my explanation and advice seriously.
I am disgusted and genuinely afraid for the vulnerable citizens of my country, for what these big banks are pulling them into shamelessly on the eve of grand market reversal down

They need to remove the VAT on silver so it can moon

1k linklet tu.

This. How do I short Slovakia?

so you trying to say that when some asset is rising in value, english natives say "my investment evaluates" instead of "my investment appreciates"
seems you lack the understanding of context (and english), thus being an unironical literate autist, most probably a brainlet grammar nazi troll from sme.sk discussions.

crypto has had a correlation of around 0.10 to the stock market, it's not very correlated at all

for one, it went up even during corrections

the current events in stocks and hash wars in crypto are completely unrelated

our country economy is frighteningly overleveraged on car manufacturing industry. Volkswagen, Citroen, KIA, Jaguar, Peugeot have their big assembly lines and plants here. Our brainlet socdem politicians are even proud to boast that Slovakia is a country producing most cars per capita anywhere in world.

Too much exposure on toxic assets (especially in the US), not structrally sound. The only "too big to fail" german bank is already crumbling while french banks reign on the eurozone.

Same here in India, massive ad campaign being run by mutual fund house association.
It's not even by any particular company. They all got together and decided to shills mutual funds to millennials.

Noticed the same in my country, an increase in ads for housing bonds. Thought the same thing, they want out of the rollercoaster and for someone else to get in

euros, especially eastern euros have gone through several currencies and devaluations, nationalizations and privatizations in the last 100 years.

that made them trust neither banks nor stocks. there is plenty of euro grandmas with several ten thousands of euros in socks and mattresses and many euros have their money in bank accounts that offer no interest rates at all. people with serious money rather go for real estate instead of stocks.

which frankly is extremely stupid. if you dont have your money in something that can offer interest youre basically retarded.

Bare in mind that financial education is not pushed by the media, and in most cases it's a taboo to discuss even among close relatives and friends.
We don't have eurocramer or fucking fastmoney 24/7 and most families have just enough to live by.

Attached: 1542515781733.jpg (1028x768, 144K)

I remember my history teacher in eastern slovakia elementary school telling a story of her grandpa skovak grandpa who travelled to USA to work in pittsburg coal mine between world wars. He and his friends kept all their hard earned money in leather pouch on their necks under shirt 24/7. One day a banker in suit come down to the mine workers and gave them a pep talk about strongest economy in the world and how us economy was never stronger as now and how foolish and backward they are to keep all their cash on them when they could have it safely in a bank who would invest their money in strongest companies in the world and share the profit. Grandpa was hesitant, but all the friends were signing up with banker so he did too. A few days later the bank announced bancrupcy and he lost every penny he saved in past 3 years since he came to us. he didn't know what was wall street and that it crashed just the day before banker showed up

Reminder that the Swiss National Bank dumped a ton of US stocks sometime in Q3, before the crash.
