I've been reading the finnish Jow Forums since I found out it exists (a few days ago).
I know quite a bit about Finland. I have finnish friends and I've been to Finland several times. I think it's remarkable how such a small country can develop some great stuff in very high complexity industries (nokia, valmet, etc). This makes me think "if they're in LINK, then we should all be in LINK".
On the other hand, their social interactions can be very...rough. Which makes me question the degree to which they can analyze/ponder the degree of sarcasm (or lack thereof) when it comes to LINK shills, particularly in places such as Jow Forums, or even reddit (where sometimes the Jow Forums cuasi sarcastic FUD leaks to).
So...I don't know whether I should be:
a) Glad that I am a link marine, because if they're in, that means it's good to be in. b) Question my investment in link, because if they're in...I probably shouldn't c) Happy either way because the fact that a disproportionate amount of link investors are finns is completely irrelevant d) All of the above e) None of the above
Why would you ever let a country like Finland decide your investment. It’s up to you and your gut instinct. Every country is good in their own way it’s just how you structure your argument?
Move on with this stupid thinking. A decentrialized oracle will happen whether Chainlink solves it or not. Blockchain/DLT’s need it to exist. Believe in the natural progression of your investment. Everything needs time.

Wondering why a single country, a country with very specific features, has a disproportionate amount of investors in an asset I'm invested in isn't the same as "letting it decide my investment".

Yes! The finnish resillience is one factor I left out of the original post. It's one of the reasons I'm happy so many link marines are finns.
There have been a couple of breadcrumbs over the past year about Nordea's involvement in smart contracts and blockchains and a couple of other smaller leads but mostly it's all on here. Many smart people do contribute to the threads and it's a nice change compared to this because it's much more clean to browse it.
FUD is even more lazy and retarded there, but there are only a few people who do it which is really nice. Some call them verge-Jonnes, as their Finnish community was really obnoxious a year ago infiltrating all crypto threads and screeching. Most of the trolls that are still seen in Chainlink threads are almost certainly fellow linkies who try to bait the less-experienced. Finnish people like to troll and the worst of it can be seen on Ylilauta's equivalent of /b/ and on Jodel.

i love link and plan to accumulate more, even if it crashes hard. in fact, if it crashes hard, id try to buy as much as possible as low as possible. literally no sarcasm involved and if finns are autistic, well, i think in the crypto market autism tends to pick the best projects. normies and chads go for stupid pump and dump shit and tecnology autists that are willing to spend a year reading up on something almost every single day because they think it could be something great are the ones who make the best long term gains. link is the great equalizer to make Jow Forums rich together. im glad so many 4channers are in on this. this will literally be a movie one day.

Links impact on this board reminds me of Late 2016/early 2017 posts about BTC and ETH, before the big explosions in price.

Finland is the land of get-quick-rich ponzi schemes. Extreme optimism for technology and letting in all sorts of foreigners to take your money.
Nokia is a good example itself. It literally dominated the mobile phone era at some point when the ownership was practically 99% Finnish.
When we got nearer to the smartphone era the Americans started to get leading positions in the company, it got "internationalized", factories were relocated from finland to China etc. and suddenly Nokia became irrelevant and few years later it was literary gone from Finland.
Foreign conmans, like Sergey of Chainlink, are welcomed with open arms. There is still plenty of money left in Finland to be relocated to Cayman Islands, Asia and Russia.
Another Finn here. The reasons you state for the downfall of Nokia are absolute nonsense. It was simply a case of utter complacency and bad management until tech base was horribly unsalvageable (Symbian) or horribly late (meego/maemo).
