REN is more tailored towards OTC desks and rather large transactions.

The challenge with REN IMO is going to be to get OTC desks to actually start using it. I mean, they have no reason not to, but the project will live or die based on this.

You have no understanding of how OTC desks serve whales and funds currently.

They literally use Skype and Excel to network with their group of buyers and sellers trying to close large deals, which is inefficient, poorly liquid and expensive (to pay the OTC broker).

These same OTC guys can now use an API and interface with the REN darkpool and link hundreds of other OTC desks and their clients, making a much more efficient market place. REN will ever share part of their fee with the OTC desks to ensure they skim off a profit too.

It's literally one of the best executed ideas in the altcoin space and a node is currently dirt cheap.

Just waiting for ETH to go under $100 to buy a second node myself.

The node will obviously generate over the overhead cost (Eth gas fees + AWS/DO server cost). The rest is net profit. The client which is used to manage the dark node runs on linux, but the team is working on a windows client as we speak.
