Why cant people make 7 or 8 figures investing in stocks?

One thing ive noticed is that many people who invest in stocks for retirement always seem to end up with the same basic amount.
1.5 or 2.5million dollars at age 65 which is depressing.
Where are the people who made 10 to 50million or even 100million
dollars just from stocks and why is that figure so hard to reach.

is it because they simple arent educating themselves or investing enough?

It's called risk you retard

You can but you need to start with a lot of money.

Like Buffett, who started with millions. His story is such bullshit. He's no Mark Cuban who started with nothing.

Most don't start investing until they are 40 and well past the window to actually make it.

mark cuban is interesting because he did start with nothing and does trade stocks.
but mark cuban also made a couple million selling a company.
I suppose the only way to get to 10 40 50 100million is to create value and sell it.
You can never do this via buying an asset and hoping it goes up over time.

This. Kids are basically a drain for 20 years, which is about 3 doublings in good markets.

That alone's the difference between 2 million and 16 million.

interesting i forgot about the kids thing

that said statistifcally there should be some 10 20million dollar guys with stock portfolios

There are. But only half the country even saves anything at all.

Grossing six figures (a bare minimum for having a shot at a megaportfolio) is the 86th percentile for individual income.

Then you need the fraction of those people autistic enough to keep saving for decades on end without fucking things up.

According to dqydj.com/net-worth-percentile-calculator-united-states/, $10m is the 98.5th percentile (15 in every 1000 are that rich or richer). $20m is 99.5th (5 in every 1000 people are that rich).

Started with nothing you say?

One more thing to keep in mind is that various surveys and income tax reports consistently indicate that a large fraction of HNWIs become rich from selling a business. Some are surgeons or CEOs or other megawagecucks, but many just build and sell off a business or something *then* park the resulting millions in the stock market.

The now 18-year-old high school student sold her cleaning business for $1 million, turning a $100-investment into almost 1,000,000% profit just two years later. She then went on to invest $250,000 into a stock portfolio that’s now worth over $10 million dollars in less than two years.

weird story, what grown adult would allow a 13 year old girl to come in and clean in their house. seems kinda creepy to me but maybe i watch too much pron

“The revelation came to me when I learned about the Exchange Act. Major shareholders, directors, and executives of public companies must declare their holdings to the public. If several of these individuals either begin buying or selling a significant amount of a particular stock I need to start building a relationship with these individuals.

like what the fuck does this paragraph even mean.
she found out who was buying and selling shares in companies and did what bought and sold them at the same time. or fucked them for information?

i hate all these how i got rich stories because the 99.999% of them are basically
"i grinded for a while woke up one day and had a bunch of money in my account"

She actually made most of her money swing-trading and daytrading. Kinda sad that 18 year old woman can read the charts better than people who have been in the business for decades. Now she is worth over $30 million dollars while you are a bitter loser incel

this has been debunked do much

she was clearly a mini whore for lots of rich texan millionaires doing insider trading. it even says right in the article that she acknowledge trading was impossible to predict without connections.

this is just a glorified trophy wife to a bunch of old sugar daddies with maybe a tiny bit more work thrown in

She worked hard and hard work pays off

While you were investing in get-rich-quick schemes of crypto, she was studying the real markets kid

You can, with leverage, options, etc.

yeah because there are many people who are in that position now.
literally kys

oy vey

she was clearly a mini whore for lots of rich texan millionaires doing insider trading

yeah i got that impression too, also the vagueness of how she leveraged those those "relationships" threw up a red flag.

Thats what we have crypto for.

I don't think I'll be a millionaire but I want to at least improve my lot in life. Wish I shorted ATVI, though I don't know what limits there are on shorting stocks.

Tell people you made it rich in the market and they'll want something from you.

On the same note a lot of the people who say they "want to tell you how to get rich" are selling that information.

how justed are you

crypto is dead

Interesting, consecutive dubs

>She worked hard and hard work pays off

How come hard work didn't pay off for you then?

I'm going to make it any day now.
