I actually have no fucking clue. What the fuck is this
Is that to run a node or what? That's $2190 per year.
Thinking this is a lot
What are the tiers?
This is for their private "chainlink" network. Literally a shadowfork.
>coming soon
per 1 link token
it's all you can eat, buffet style. are there no buffets in mumbai?
it doesn't work like that. you don't need 1 link per call. because that will mean if link goes to $50 the network is too expensive. 0.10$ is based on a similiar price for an api call through an traditional system
>not linking the web page
NOOOOOOOOOO LINKBROS
WERE WE ALL SCAMMED?!
how dumb are you guys. Let me brainlet up what you see here.
Kaliedo is not in alpha or beta, but live. They have their own chainlink node (on test net). This allows anyone using Kaleido to use that ONE chainlink node to pull external data. I spoke with Kaleido and they will reexamine the chainlink setup once its on main net.
Are you implying it isn't a lot or what?
Scroll down.
Might this be the price for the current centralized oracle run on smartcontract.com?
there no buffet at mac
why would nodes get paid by the hour?
LINK WILL BE ONLY WORTH 0.25
LET'S LAUGH AT THESE RETARDED STINKIES
Why doesn’t someone email them and ask?
>it will only cost like 7 bucks a day for kaleido to run our nodes for us
linkpool is fucking rekt, good riddance to all those fucking fags who were trying to sell shares for 10 eth
Holy fuck. Is it really going to be this easy to run a Chainlink node? $2,190+$49 to run a node per year, and all I have to do is connect every external adapter I can think of to it? The passive income stream might be negative at the beginning, but his will be insane after a few years. We'll be making more than most Americans doing absolutely nothing.
if smart contracts get widely adopted we will make a LOT more than most murricans
I can't wait for people to see my 12 lambos and notice that i never work. When they ask me what i do i'll give them a technical explanation of my node and the data i provide and watch their little faggot eyes glaze over
Delusional even by linkies standards
Do you have the faintest idea how many millions of contracts the Chainlink network is likely to be retrieving data for in the next several years? There will have to be thousands of nodes on the network, each with thousands of staked LINK. LINK is going to the fucking moon dude.
Delusion. The absolute top for link in an insane bullrun (btc goes to 500k) is $5, that's it
get a load of this goy
screenshotted.
people literally said the same shit about eth when i was on biz 4 years ago 'russian scam coin will never break 10 usd'
The difference is everybody was shitting on crypto or didn't know what it was then. Now everybody is jizzing over crypto, every fucking normie and their twitter feed holds some shitcoin. I believe in LINK. I hold a lot of it. But I'll be pretty fucking shocked if we even see a x100. That would make the assets worth $25B, putting at about equal with a company like AirBnB. Do you really think that's going to happen overnight? We'll be lucky if it happens at all.
fucking wrecked i cant believe there are pajeets on this board that say the dumbest shit
thinking institutions will migrate from their centralized solutions to a decentralized shit network because why fuck logic. you will not get rich by holding random internet shit tokens. cope
looool this guy is literally a brainlet 3rd world shit for brains
Fully functional Chainlink is more valuable than fucking AirBNB
there are no "centralized solutions" any institutions are using right now retard. oraclize is completely useless and is only used for illegal online gambling.
and since link is completely agnostic middleware no institution/company needs to change anything in their systems to use it. chainlink network is completely compatible with all legacy systems currently in use on earth in every tech sector.
educate yourself before shitposting
centralized solution = TRADITIONAL OPTIONS. NOT FUCKING BLOCKCHAIN SHITCOINS.
there's this thing called LAWS that take sometimes decades to get approved and then if they did end up creating blockchain solutions, which they wont because corporations like centralized organizations / people to be LIABLE and take RESPONSIBILITY for things, there is this thing called adaptation time that also takes YEARS.
TL;DR: INTERNET MEME COINS ARE NOT GONNA MAKE YOU RICH. COPE
>there's this thing called LAWS that take sometimes decades to get approved
good thing DocuSign already sorted this out lmfao
>which they wont because corporations like centralized organizations
yes user corporations LOVE paying middlemen out the ass for something they could do for free with a decentralized system. as we all know corporations are extremely charitable.
>people to be LIABLE and take RESPONSIBILITY for things
you mean like the person who writes the smart contract? or maybe the people who audit it? huh.
educate yourself
before shitposting
>People already have BitCoin, why would they ever buy Ethereum?!
>You can't just be a game changer!
>A USED BOOK WEBSITE IS NOT GOING TO GET YOU RICH
He difference is neets can't make passive income investing in airbnb
And airbnb does one thing. LINK will do many
>actually thinking private blockchain = private oracles
if you can't write to someone's permissioned blockchain, how do you think your node can accept jobs for that private blockchain user? Genuinely curious why so many anons here don't understand that no kaleido chains will use nodes the general public can run.
I'm not sure if the kaleido image is real up top, but it's irrelevant to the public chainlink network.
So that are their rates per hour for whomever wants to use chainlink?
Unironically this. I talked to the team as well. I have screenshots I can post
>CENTRALIZED OPTION:
SHIT HITS THE FAN -> TAKE THINGS TO COURT
>DECENTRALIZED PEE PEE POO POO:
SHIT HITS THE FAN -> CONTRACT ALREADY GOT TRIGGERED LOL. WHO GIVES A SHIT IF SOME ASSHOLE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT GOES TO PRISON FOR 50 YEARS, YOUR MONEY IS GONE.
WHO'S GOING TO WANT THIS? NO ONE. COPE
Post them
>internet memes coins wont make you rich
Except they already have for many people. Sounds like you're the one who's coping
during speculation even a bag of dogshit can make people rich. speculation is over and adoption will never come.lmao at all the early adopters mass posting the "bitcoin always crashes and recovers!" meme to increase buy volume so they can dump their bags at a higher profit and newfags actually eating it. COPE
cope
I was skeptical at first too so I ended up counting the pixels. You wouldn't believe what I was able to uncover.
The Chainlink network was always meant to be as diverse and customizable as possible.
From public to private, from readymade contracts to custom contracts, etc.
One of the very first use cases for Chainlink was smart bonds for Swift on Hyperledger Fabric, which is a permissioned chain.
Guess what, that still used Chainlink nodes, see pic related which is a slide from Sergey's Sibos presentation.
And there are many ways to write to a permissioned blockchain. Like getting permission.
And Kaleido plugs into the public ETH chain, so it's not just about the private part.
That's too use Chainlink as part of your Kaleido usage.
My thought is that this is sp fucking bullish charging by the hour. It means there will be so much transaction volume that it's more feasible to charge hourly. It's not $.005 per, it's more like "your gonna use the fuck out of the network so we'll charge bulk"
i disagree. it seems more and more to me that this is a service to run your own link nodes for your own private blockchain and avoid using public ethereum chainlink network all together.
this is for companies that don't trust public blockchains, so they want permissioned consortium ones. for them, decentralized smart contracts on a public chain is stupid when they can have "decentralized" smart contracts on a consortium chain.
they don't want true end-to-end decentralization including inputs and outputs (like chainlink) provided by a highly decentralized network- if they did want high decentralization, they wouldn't use a consortium in the first place.
if a low degree of decentralization in their contract execution (i.e., permissioned blockchain) is acceptable, then i bet so is a low degree of decentralization of inputs/outputs.
so while oraclzie is probably shit for them, private chainlink nodes to go with their private blockchain nodes is probably acceptable.
charging by the hour doesnt mean there will be so many public transactions guys... if you're a smart contract writer and you want an oracle to provide data, you shouldn't even need your own link node. one should exist to provide the data you want. the fact running a node on kaleido is even possible is a strange sign, but it makes sense if private consortium chains that don't use real ETH will have private consortium oracles that don't use real LINK.

where do they hire shills like you?
