My rent is about 800 a month. I plan to just uber and make 80-100 everyday or so for the rest of my life , is this a solid plan?

Sounds great dude, what could go wrong? Nothing.

Sweet man. As long as I keep my car in check I think I’ll be good.

the amount of money you make from uber doesnt even cover the maintenance on your vehicle

No because you forget to factor in all the costs and risks
>gas
>more frequent maintenance like oil changes and tires
>wear and tear, depreciation
>risk of an accident which could be costly and end your earnings
It's not really worth your time honetsly unless you're in a special market that isn't saturated. It used to be good around here but now it's overrun with drivers and you can't make shit

I am so devastated I will never be able to drive for uber. Damn DUI I got at 18 will hold me back forever.

Any idea if there is an appeal process for this?

You forgot advancements in Self Driving technology is to displace the market in 2019 Q2.

maybe never at current rates

I literally just need an oil change and gas bruh

I quit my job to drive for Uber for the stress relief. In a similar boat. I live with my parents so food and rent is minimal. I invest every cent and live a minimal life. By no means do you want to be an Uber driver forever, use the money to make your future better.

Few pointers, drive a 3cyl car. Fuel benefits over even an eco 4cyl are huge.
Keep receipts for all fuel, maintenance, expenses and scan it all plus keep a detailed spreadsheet that is easy to read. It’s a tonne easier come tax time.
Drive only the busy hours, go home when it seems dead, isn’t worth the hassle or petrol.
Keep your car tidy for resale and find the best tax benefits you can for your country. In Australia you can claim the cost of a vehicle up to 20k as a tax break and even calculate depreciation as a loss.
Experiment with different areas until you find the sweet spot at certain times.

All in all I’m making more than a middle income job after expenses and with much less stress. Just be prepared for your income to fluctuate and also realise you don’t get paid holidays or super (401k?). It is nice to take a day off whenever you feel though.

I make pretty good money honestly . The risk to reward is worth it with how little I make, I can save over 2k monthly in case anything happens if I’m consistent . And my cars basically brand new still .

literally this retarded

You're taking a huge hit on the value of your car. Basically bringing forward your equity now but at a huge cost later. You'll regret doing this in a few years.

Tell me what else I’ll need to pay for?
I’m not crashing. My cars in great shape , it would last years before extended maintenance is needed. I don’t even need to worry about insurance atm

>go to pickup spot
>where to?
>ethnically enriched passenger pulls out gun
>gimme all yo fuckin btc whitey
>b-but i only hold link, $1000 eoy
>*BANG BANG BANG*

I only do food deliveries and live in a safe town

But what about all his Eferiums?

I think you’re fucked if you have somethin as serious as a dui

you're good to go after 7 years. you can have ANY charge and you're good for uber and lyft after 7 years.

uber requires proof of insurance

Checked 1000 EOY

nope grandpa. 2019. 2020 at the latest

what is this leddit faggotry? jesus fucking christ

This is literally what i do except i want to kill myself and i office job instead of uber

Uber will use self driving cars soon

Primary barrier will be regulation, so there's a few more years left. Not many, though.

checkd and sergey'd
1000 eoy confirmed

The longer you drive the more the odds are stacked against you. Spending all that time on the road your bound to crash, get tickets, hae ticket breakdown. Uber is a good side gig for an extra 200 a week
