When did you first hear about crypto and how did you find out about it? Also, do you you have a method for finding new opportunities?
I'm curious
Another 90% down nigga, KYS!
I am sensing that you are currently dissatisfied with your portfolio.
People were spamming /b/ talking about bitcoin in 2009 when it was like $0.30 each coin or something. I spent about 4 minutes researching it and how to buy it before deciding it was gay and using that money on pot and vidya. No regrets.
Do you think the next big opportunity will be spammed on /b/ some time soon? Also nice id.
I first heard about Bitcoin in 2013, when Max Keiser was shilling it on RT.
I did not realize that there were many imitations, and indeed an entire market complete with scams and a few real projects, until I started browsing Jow Forums around 2015 looking for a community to find penny stock trading signals.
Of course not nigger, if you follow biz, you deserve to lose everything.
the next big opportunity is, unironically, crypto

/B/ oldfag that never added Jow Forums
Probably heard about it in like 2010/2011. Paid zero attention to it until 2013. Bought in and forgot about it after 2014 crash. Checked back in 2017 when it hit $2k and have been paying attention to it ever since.
Almost every project I'm following I found about on here. going to continue buying for the entire bear cycle.
I was interested in drugs when I was a teenager, and I had heard about silk road from Jow Forumsdrugs on reddit, this was over 5 years ago when the value of a bitcoin was under $20 each
I didn't hold any, only used them to purchase
It feels like something new should happen soon. Bitcoin has been around almost 10 years, ebay reselling 20 years. Ebooks are saturated, app stores are too competitive, youtube has basically abandoned new content creators (stocks and storage locker auctions have been around for decades). There needs to be a new way for the little guy to make a buck. Anyone know of anything that's starting to emerge? I've been searching all day, but the only new idea I've found is loot boxes/gacha. It seems like data and infosec are big industries right now, but there's a bit of a learning curve to get into anything like that.
Fuckin everyone had heard of bitcoin by 2014. It was prior general knowledge and curiosity that took some people further. Likewise at this point there is literally not a single person who hasn't heard of crypto currency. There are no excuses for nocoiners when this shit moons next. No "wow you're so lucky you found out about that early".
I learned of Bitcoin from a genderfluid Polish ancap in Second Life, whom I suspected (but never confirmed) had AIDS. Bought three figures' worth of BTC via Paypal and promptly forgot about them for a couple of years.

It's like all you know is cliches and memes, no original thoughts of your own. A genuine NPC.
>no original thoughts of your own
>NPC
Your originality is striking, faggot
This. I remember those infographics explaining how to mine, etc., but never looked into it, because I was a dumb 15-16 year old.
Didn't you get the memo? Only NPCs use the NPC meme now.

Literally just met someone who had never ever heard of bitcoin or crypto
> be me poorfag trying to make money online
> do this thing where you "get paid to click" adds
> have a few GPT sites where I click adds for a cent per add
> I reach payout of $20 dollars after like 3 months
> one of the ads was a link to bitcoin, it was a one pager that included a video and you could buy bitcoin for $0.01. it just launched.
As i was in a scammy area online with the get paid to click thing I thought it was a ripp off.
never bought it. then it suddenly was $15, never bought any. then I went have sex and drugs and fun and the next time I heardr about bitcoin it was $500. I contiuned with sex and drugs and finally bought in at $4k lmao :(
Depends if biz dies
crypto really never should have mooned, i still hold that position... the tokens are extremely overvalued if not completely worthless

>Tripped balls on high quality acid a couple short weeks later
Many thanks old man, you changed my life direction
Nope they've heard of it. It just didn't register as something they know or care about so they ignored it and never realised they were ever exposed to it.
I actually heard about bitcoin in like 2010. I was skeptical and didnt buy any at its start. Im not bitter. Just disappointed.
It's already been intermittently spammed here for about six months.
Heard about it in November 17 when it was all over the media.
Boght and got wrecked :(
I can't remember when but I believe I heard about bitcoin in school at 600$ but I was a little retard 16yo with no money so nothing to lose sleep over
/b/ in 2010 or 2011, I was too stupid to understand how blockchain functions
I bought some blow online and found out about bitcoin
