Ok I went on MEW and I'm stuck at Select HD derivation path

you entered your private key into MEW while online? That's a huge fuck up and you'll need to generate a new wallet offline and send them there soon. Type the address you sent your LINK to on etherscan and tell us if you see your tokens.

You go to MEW with your ledger connected to your computer on chrome and select hardware wallet—> ledger—->open it with your passcode and it should display the five addresses stored on your device. Click the one you sent them to and view your tokens in the drop down menu...its not rocket science

I hope you tested the ETH address. Means withdrawal a small amount from Binance to your Ledger, then send it back to Binance. If this works, transfer everything. Sorry for your loss.

ledger live seems to be using a different derivation path than the old ledger ethereum app. i'm not sure what it is or why. take the address that ledger live says is your eth address and plug it into etherscan.io. you should see your linkies there.
as for how to access them with MEW, i'm not sure, but they're not lost.

Ok I checked and they are not lost. But it's not the most pratical or safest thing. Why can't Ledger just add a Chainlink wallet? Seriously everyone here and reddit and telegram and discord and their moms suggesting me to get this ledger nano S, yet to have control of your coins is this complicated

It's really simple mate and the reason it doesn't have a chainlink app is because no one on the team has made one for ledger yet.
On MEW there's only 21k chainlink wallets or something tiny so why would ledger go out of there way?

Seriously, hardware wallets are a meme. Look at the biz archive, everyone advises to not use them. Funds are safe on Binance

I had the same problem. The old Directory is “m/44'/60'/0'” but the new Ledger Live directory is “m/44'/60'/0'/0”
You should be good after that.

I suspect this. There are too many verifications to succesfully hack coins from a Binance account.
You literally have to bomb their headquarters like the video to kill your coins

You can custom select the directory. Insert this m/44'/60'/0'/0 and try this one m/44'/60'/0/0. It has to be it, I use it all the time. It can’t be any different

There’s decentralized exchanges that let you trade directory from hardware wallets. I love that concept, being able to trade from your ledger or trezor
