>tried to quit job
>boss won’t let me
Tried to quit job
Why not ask for more money
kiss his ear
I had the same problem.
There is only 1 solution!
>Fuck his wife in the ass without a condom, take a picture of your cock with her shit on it and send it to him.
This unironically happened when I was like 10 and tried to quit guitar lessons. My teacher guilted me out of quitting for a couple months so he could keep raking in shekels. Luckily he was in a car crash and I was able to get out.
Why not just ask for 50% raise or you walk out to never come back?
What do you mean by "my boss won't let me". You're not a slave, so quit!
i work for family and been trying to get fired for 15 years
If he doesn't let you quit he probably really needs you, like a true capitalist you need to capitalize off of that by asking for a raise, otherwise just walk out never come back
Literal wage slave
>wont let you quit
>wont give you a raise to make you stay either
then just wait till you get your paycheck and never come back you dense motherfucker
in my country if you have three consecutive days of unmotivated leaves, your contract ends.
also I dont have a job since the 24'th november.
just quit, thats what i did
>boss won’t let me
>I don't really want to quit, but make drama from time to time to see how my slavemaster loves me.
>try to quit
>be told I can't, signed a contract
>boss tries to call police to drag me out of my house when I don't show up for work
>Got hired at Macy's
>Stopped going after orientation
>Haven't been to work in over a month, but they still keep scheduling me
I have walked out of all my jobs without 2 weeks notice, even from jobs where I have been like over 4 years. All dramatic exits like go tell people to fuck themselves.
Sometimes they call back , my old boss even went to my sister's house to search me because I went on drinking binges for week. I have told them that they can sue me if they want but I have diagnosed mental problems so it would probably fail in court and after quitting many jobs I have been to mental institutions.
If you want to quit your job without notice just go to doctor and say you want to kill yourself and get some sort of document that says you are too depressed to work so they cant sue you
>put in two weeks notice at last job
>supervisor is begging me to stay
>tell him I don't make enough money to move out of my parents house
>tells me "money doesn't matter/it isn't about the money"
why tf am I here then b0ss?
I'm assuming you don't play anymore? My issue w music lessons was that I didn't learn scales modes etc. They'd just give me shit to play. Got old and I wanted more. When you're 8, you don't even know how to vocalize that so you just assume that guitar is overrated. Picked it back up recently and am having tons of fun with it.
If money doesn't matter, your boss can take a cut for your raise then?
Lol this sounds like a mil poster
>try to quit
>boss sends me to prison
Just military things
Just stay at home tomorrow and see what his next move is
What the fuck do you mean?
>Hey boss here's my notice
>You can't
>No seriously, in two weeks time I won't be coming here anymore
>No seriously, you cannot. Get back to work
this
its a harsh world out there user
Portland Tn?
My boss is just too fucking nice.
Not for me buahahahaha
Had a boss like that once. I drunkenly sent him some message about Carl Sagan being right, so he checked the workplace to make sure I didn't hang myself.
He was a great boss. Put up with a lot of my mental health issues.
Wait, what? I'm in Macon County.
>>tells me "money doesn't matter/it isn't about the money"
Should've said, I agree so give me a raise
That's a great fucking idea user!
Haha, that was a good one user. Now get back to work!
if this isn't about money, giving you a raise should be easy
I’m actually in a similar situation OP. I work for a contractor (govt) and have the opportunity to jump ship for a huge salary increase. Problem is I just started a new project and made people do a bunch of work to get me set up so I’d feel extremely guilty and probably burn bridges if I quit. But it’s so much money man...
What is Carl Sagan right about?
fuck them
Holy shit fuck boomer bosses who say this. I have a boss whose parents paid for everything in his life and he’s mad that I’m quitting for a raise when I have 50k in student loans.
this is what my dad said to me when i tried to quit my job
>theres 1 millon anons there that can do the excat same thing that you are doing right now so dont kys
fuck them
boomers are fucking selfish and only think of things in relation to themselves. is physically impossible for boomers to see that other people have interests outside their own
>"Sir I've been really unsatisfie-"
>"Not now worker #1549, get back to your cage"
you guys are just fucking around, no way can anything here be real
Dude you're from Lafayette???
Do you know Ben or Josh C.?
Haha, I am Josh C. I don't know a Ben though.
this isn't like a submarine were both guys have to switch the keys together to activate the nukes, just quit or more $
It's about growing with the company user
"Contract"
Fuck outta here feudal lad
Fuck them, those people won't bat an eye to betray you with a knife in the back for a few dollars raise.
Activate beacon 410 to shock him
Huh, I guess I don't know you then. I have a brother named Josh but you must be a different one. What year did you graduate?
He indirectly threatened to give me a bad reference.
Giving someone a bad reference is really throwned apon and everyone is too scared of being sued to do it
If he slanders you then you can get a good payday desu. Win/win.
lmao
You'd think they would be wise enough to throw me a little extra money, seeing how they had a chronic staffing issues and my position was fairly technical. Their excuses was that a third party company based out of a different state handled payroll and raises. A very BS excuse, but not my problem anymore!
The whole company seemed to run on boomerisms, which is why everything was going to shit. Your boss seems triggered by the fact that your free to go out and increase your market value. He rather keep you as his little underpaid millennial pet.
Growing with the company makes sense if I was 35+ or worked for a great company, which neither of those are the case. What I lack in experience as a young person I make up for with time, a commodity the boomers do not have. It is more valuable for me to move from company to company, gain experiences, raises, and dip, than get too comfy with one company. Kinda like what said.
