wow that e85 stuff is cheap, how is it vs real gasoline?

I don't trust it. Just moved to Colorado and it's everywhere. Can't even get 93 octane anywhere. Presumably there is an inverse correlation between elevation and octane required, but I guess I'll see when my turbo explodes.

>he fell for the octane jew

I've heard its not as good and doesn't give you the same mpg. Not certain though.
I've never bought it.

i wouldn't trust it in the slightest. never used it. i refuse to believe that it isn't worse for the engine, or that switching between regular 87 and e85 doesn't put some kind of undue stress on the engine.

it's not worth the potential damage or wear. until it's something that everyone does (and no one does it) i'm not going to run the risk of losing dollars in the form of reduced engine life trying to chase pennies in fuel cost savings.

>he thinks a lit cigarette can ignite gas

Yeah I buy ethanol free for my boomer lawn machines.

I live on the east coast so it's not available anyway, I just know my vehicle says e85 is useable.

It's fine in engines that are designed for it. Just don't use it in older engines or anything with a carb.

E85 is generally for performance. My performance car runs on E85, but I needed a new fuel pump with special fuel lines that wont be corroded away by it, and new fuel injectors. Don't just randomly throw it in your car. Also i needed to have my car specially tuned for it.

And it is cheaper than gasoline, but burns faster. Meaning it pretty much equals out price wise, with more stops to fill up.

I'm wondering how it compares to the skim milk
