man, I'm on no fap and feel like wanking now.

This. It is s SJW shitcoin for ponyfags

why bother, it'll be worthless when quantum computers come out next decade

monero isn't something you buy and hold. It's a tool that you use temporarily to wash your trades. why don't you faggots understand this?

Monero is a perfect hold currency.

I don't know but the price when BTC hits 1k is what you should be thinking about.
No he's right, people only use XMR to buy drugs, it's not something you hold onto.

>No he's right, people only use XMR to buy drugs, it's not something you hold onto.
How can you know? Its an opaque ledger.

Because the only people who hold it are delusional AnCaps who are paranoid about the IRS caring about their 5k in life savings kek. Seriously, XMR is not gonna be the next BTC, crypto is dying and is gonna stay dead for a long time.

What is...Aztec for $1000. Eth will soon back the fuck outta this memecoin. It had its run but the time is coming to an end

You forgot to add that monero is a fpga scam feeding an asic scam on a six month timeframe.

Just another coin from the coin mills

you are a prophet, aren't you?

>crypto is dying and is gonna stay dead for a long time.
You wouldn't know.

>when

You mean if.

Hopefully around $1 so I can load up. Arguably incredibly undervalued.

Only currency with a ledger that isn't public knowledge. Why brainlets want their entire balance to be viewable when their bank account isn't is beyond me. Just makes you a target for theft, fraud, the IRS, and greedy women.

Unironically very big if true. Combined with the LavaWallet the 0xBTC cultists are always going on about this could be a really interesting development.

Until 99% of threads on this board are screaming sell all coins there is no point in buying. We are still unironically in anxiety.

>Ethereum
Lost me there. These coins have enough issues with scaling without layering them on top of a "general purpose" blockchain that has no hopes of ever scaling due to it's wide scope

you're right user, I'm sure you're much smarter than those dumb dumbs at MIT and the National Academy of Science

>18 year old proves that classical computers are just as powerful as quantum in one of the only tests quantum computing was "known" to be better at

Tell me more about how great and powerful quantum computing is.

Also, when quantum computing is around, it can be used to secure the blockchain. quantum cucks btfo

That is, assuming someone can first come up with a way to make it more efficient than classical computing. At current quantum computing hasn't really been shown to be better for shit. Everyone just thinks it has the potential to be. Just like everyone thinks crypto has the potential to replace fiat.

Keyword being "thinks". On paper it sounds all well and good, but theory and reality don't always intersect.

$500 in January is worth $50 today. There is literally no point in selling anymore.

Particl's cold staking circumvents the quantum problem, is the most developed coin off Core, and will have ringct on their marketplace that's close to launch

>But muh quamptumb compiutahs
No coiners btfo

The correct question is "Price of Monero when bitcoin hits $1k?"

>Nocoiner
Learn to read brainlet

> ssshhhhhhh...

Shoo pajeet
SHOO SHOO

Based on What?

bitcoin and monero only onces which a cryptocurrency FUCK THE REST

there are no arguments on biz, only name calling.

Currency must be fungible. Monero only once which a cryptocurrency.

>is a fpga scam feeding an asic scam on a six month timeframe.
congratulations, you've proven that you know absolutely nothing about engineering asics or programming fpga, go buy porn w xvg faggot

As somebody who has actually taken a quantum computing course (you can too: youtube.com/watch?v=78tSf2R1huk&list=PLm3J0oaFux3YL5qLskC6xQ24JpMwOAeJz ) the point of Quantum computation is working with uncountable numbers, like simulating the state of 10^500 virtual machines. If one actually is built we can do incredibly amounts of predictive 'deep learning' meaning all those wall street quants will be able to accurately simulate and predict market movements. Shor's Algorithm and the like, doesn't affect cryptocurrencies as all of them can simply remove the vuln eliptic curve crypto and replace with something else like McEliece and other schemes djb's team in Europe is doing analysis on: pqcrypto.org/

So any coin schemes that have an on-chain governance or any kind of ability to change within a year of this happening will be fine, and things set in stone where everybody argues over any changes (Bitcoin) and said arguments persist for a decade will pretty much die.

know enough to say that the entire motivation behind changing the POW every six months is to feed an asic farm after fluffyponzi milked the fpgas for all they were worth so i hope you like cheese butthurt moaner.

>So any coin schemes that have an on-chain governance or any kind of ability to change within a year of this happening will be fine, and things set in stone where everybody argues over any changes (Bitcoin) and said arguments persist for a decade will pretty much die
WTF JUST WENT ALL IN ON MONERO AND ETHEREUM

>Implying January buyers are the ones to worry about.

Think of all the people who bought early who are now only 20 percent up vs. 200 and want to see a little gain. Also those who DCA memed all year about to go below initial. We have a long fucking way to go before we see a bull market.

>bought early
>only up 20%
You retards actually think buying in summer 2017 is "early", my fucking sides.

Daily reminder that Bitcoin was mentioned on mainstream news networks in 2013. Two thousand and fucking thirteen. Most of this board was probably 12 years old then.

That only makes my point stronger. Imaging watching 5 million shrink to 50,000. It's not going to happen. These people will sell and Bitcoin will go to 500 easy before anyone should consider buying again.
