Studio apartment

Is this a based way to live? With Cryto shitting the bed muh “make it threads” aren’t looking realistic.
>cheap rent
>minimalist items
>air mattress
Really cheap for under 800$ a month

Seems like living in a hotel. Granted my 2 bedroom apartment isn't much better.

Looks comfy OP. It can feel cramped with another person, but studios are perfect on your own.

2 room, not bedrooms. Living room, bedroom, restroom. I've also got a nice closet.

>800$ a month
cheap

KYS. you're not going to make it.

My studio in Queens, NY is $1392/month, which is considered cheap here. The average is 1400-1500 for a non-ghetto.

>2018
>renting at all

Sleeping in the same room you live in is bad for sleep

>Just live with your parents your whole life until you can afford a mortgage bro

I'm 28, fiance is 29. We will never afford any kind of property unless crypto makes it.

>$20K a year to literally rent a room

haha fucking amerimutt, let's go watch some baseball haha you guys are fucked in the head

>Just live with your parents your whole life
What's wrong with it if you're poor as church mouse?

The whole world always lived this way, but somehow in the west it's a shame if you're not enslaving half of your life for a shitty mortgage or rent.

Meanwhile your parents are probably owning a big house that they already don't need and will probably sell it for something smaller and spend the money on stupid useless shit like cars and "vacations", because they "deserve" it. But let me tell you something, they don't deserve shit. Indeed they own you, they own you a lot!

Get your shit together, because this is not how you gain captial.

Attached: pensioners[1].jpg (650x434, 55K)

That was rude

My parents are in a two bedroom apartment.

>Indeed they own you, they own you a lot!
Sorry I meant owe you. Still sleeping ...

Reno has tons of 1 bedroom units going up. Most are in former motels from casinos that went belly up, like the Sundowner and shit.

They go for like 120k, got mine for ~110k including all the bullshit fees associated with a conventional. 690 sqft, with tons of amenities like free utilities and shit.

>800$ - 1500$
Oh no you're so fucked in the head already... I'd unironically consider being homeless at these prices.

TFW renting a 750 per month 2 br with my best friend that's actually decently nice
So comfy

Fuck you are so stupid Minimalism isn't a poor persons thing. It's an art movement and aesthetic philosophy.

Dumb uncultured mutt cunts.

>My parents are in a two bedroom apartment.
That's irresponsible. they're bad parents.

Move out of JewYork if it's that bad. Not owning land is a recipe for slavery.

Attached: iu[1].jpg (724x483, 426K)

also this. minimalism is meme.

you can't have it in 30 square meters flat.

Yeahhh... sign me up for only $800. In Portland, Oregon, this costs $1800-2000 a month.

It’s disgusting how wide those roads are

are the avocado toasts included in this price?

Attached: iu[1].jpg (474x355, 29K)

Cheap lol.

Dutchfag here

I have a 100.000 loan on a 140.000 euro house. 3 bedroom. Very comfy, not in the best part of town but who cares.

1.7% interest. I pay 450 euro per month, but only 150 euro interest :D. This is cheaper than renting a room during college. I will pay it off in 6-7 years and rent it for 1100 euro to some international student cuck.

your clothes will stink
your bed will stink
you will stink
studios are for stinkies
buy LINK

why you cant handle the freedom? relax.

>140.000 euro house
>in Netherlands

the typical 3 bed is about 200 sq meters so, your house will cost about 700 per meter which is ridiculous price for europe.

you're lying to us my friend.

What kind of lease did you have to sign?

>air mattress
OP, you must be a teenager or something. You can't sleep on an air mattress for a long time.

he said not in the best part of the town and did not specify where said town is

you can get houses for this price and cheaper in bumfuck east-germany too

Germanfag and handyman here.

Saved up 50,000€ till I was 29, finished university and bought a 1000 sq meters property with a nice free standing 240 sq meters house on it for 300,000€ total. It's a bit suburbish but still everything is within reach.

There were some things to fix (mostly labor, little material cost) which I did all on my own and now I live in a big fucking awesome house for which I have to pay exactly 900€ per month at 1.6% interest rate. I make 3000€ per month after taxes fromy my shite 40 hour per week engineering job.

Life is good. I see all my "I have to live in a big city centre because it's super hip and there are so many clubs and bars"-friends and colleagues paying over 1000€ per month for shitty worn down 2 bedroom 4th-floor-no-elevator apartments and I honestly feel superior sitting at my open fireplace.

Nope not lying friendo, though maybe 3 bedroom is a bit exaggeration. It is 2 bedroom with a 3rd study room. I live 5 minutes with train from Rotterdam city center where this same 95m2 appartment would cost approx 320-400k. People are honestly retarded to spend their whole salary to live next to a bar lol

I'm happy for you then my fren. Cheers.

Thanks, it even got a fireplace lol. House prises have been going insane here the last couple years. Im 30 years old now and bought my first house in 2013, in middle of crisis. It was a glorious house for 280.000 euro, but i was paying 1100 euro mortgage per month, never had money and was living with a horrendous ex. So i divorced the cunt, and we were forced to sell the house in 2017 for 456.000 euro (yes lol im not larping). I determined that i never get caught up in such a mess again(being forced to sell) i buy a cheap but good house and pay it off in x-year and then generate passive income (rinse and repeat). Found a 10/10 girl as well who i met in france (my ex was a 3/10 but she was the first blabla im a stupid cunt Jow Forums lurking idiot). Life is good we can all make it frens

thats not a studio apartment. a studio apartment is literally one room and a bathroom. it might have clear 'sections' like half-walls. but it's all one room with the exception of the bathroom

Attached: 1024px-Studio_Apartment_Minneapolis_1.jpg (1024x754, 164K)

Nice cope...

Not if you open the windows at least once a day

it's only $800 if you want to live in a shithole area

(inb4 how your shithole isn't really a shithole, it just has all the fetures of one)

>the typical 3 bed is about 200 sq meters
Maybe in the Plywooded States of America, and when you include storage i the number.

>and I honestly feel superior sitting at my open fireplace
Oh, so you're responsible for the air constantly smelling like complete shit in the winter. Fucking wood oven or fireplace fags in built up areas are fucking cancer. The last time air smelled this bad was in impoverished socialist fucking Germany when everyone was still heating with coal.

You didn't make it, and are NOT EVEN CLOSE to making it if you live in a place that belongs to someone else.

Good luck tho.

>Oh, so you're responsible for the air constantly smelling like complete shit in the winter.

And what's your suggestion? Making BBQ on a sun stove.

burning wood is freedom. deal with it. or die.

Attached: iu[1].jpg (960x700, 50K)

>Fucking wood oven or fireplace fags in built up areas are fucking cancer.
>built up areas

I don't live in a built up area because I'm not a fag. My property is surrounded by a small forest where I'm legally allowed to harvest wood.

That used to be completely normal and actually recommended rather than waste money on your own place. Its only recently (< 2 generations ago) that the "kick em out at 18" thing became a norm. It really does make no sense because it impoverishes your own family members forcing them to pay some land lord rent early in their life instead of establishing wealth for the family. We also used to live with our elderly family members, now we send them to a home and forget about them. Family more rarely even pass down their homes to their children when they die now due to reverse mortgages, they give them to the bank instead.

Boomers basically destroyed the entire concept of generational wealth and cashed it out, they inherited their families homes, businesses, money, but left their kids out on their own. Now its literal a social stigma not to want to live with your own family but instead pay some random land lord out the ass.

for one person it is very comfy
remind me condos in Thailand
could spend my live in it
never used the kitchen btw

I own my own apartment. I rent out 2 rooms and that covers ALL my expenses + I get $250 a month. Got a nice 20m2 room for myself. Thinking about getting a cuckshed and renting out the last room. Just need to work for another 5-7 years and I can retire at 32y-34y.

Inhericucks are always colossal fuckups. Generational wealth is a meme until you'r well above hundreds of millions in capital

>Generational wealth is a meme
ladies and gentleman let me present you THE official JEW of this tread.

Attached: iu[1].gif (500x416, 429K)

Living the dream, make sure to preserve the house and surrounding nature and not let it go to waste. It can be plenty satisfying if waging doesn't drain you too much already.

I’m happy for this lad

>Inheritard incapable of anything contrary to his chosen narrative
This unironically typical for daddies money 'tards

I used to pay £1100 a month with bills included for a studio in central London (literally next to Kings Cross station).

Was alright - but I wouldn't want to live in a studio again either renting or buying...

>cooking makes the entire place smell
>lack of storage space
>renting is literally dead money you'll never see again
>cramped if you're two people like I was (me and girlfriend)

is this sarcasm? it's a tiny two way, one lane road with parallel parking and what appears to be a shared turning lane

>It's a bit suburbish but still everything is within reach.
This made it sound like you were living in a neighborhood. To me within reach means within walking distance, not within driving distance.

What does BBQ have to do with heating? There are cleaner methods for heating now, no excuse to not use them and instead turn the air in towns into gaseous pestilence.

You obnoxious little cunt. Your smoke is literally trespassing on many other properties. You should be fined thousands of dollars every time you light a fire and if the government wasn't there to protect you I would kill you myself.

Tiny? This is tiny.

Attached: 1170271_cms2image-fixed-605x320_1pra7g_i7hZYq.jpg (605x320, 49K)

>And what's your suggestion?
Natural gas or electricity. Both cheaper and more effective.

Fire is only considered "better" by faggots that are obsessed with doing things the most expensive and impractical way purely to show off what special faggots they are. KYS.

It still gets stinky from kitchen garbage.

It's not tiny, it has a pigfat SUV making it look like it. This is tiny.

Attached: file.png (1023x712, 1.06M)

>There are cleaner methods for heating now
and all of them rely on """muh gubermnent""" regulations ans supply chain

KYS fucking statist piece of shit

>Your smoke is literally trespassing on many other properties.
Then maybe all of you faggots should leave my surroundings for good. A house without fireplace and decent plot is a glorified flat. Buy a city condo and gtfo.

Deal with it. or KYS as well.

Wood fireplaces are based and redpilled. Buying a mountain house with one. Maximum comfy.

I just bought a house. If you cant afford property get a better job or learn to budget.

People like you are an embarrassment to libertarians. Have no doubt that I would consider any of your smoke hitting my lungs a violation of the NAP and promptly send a tactical nuke your way.

>open the windows
lol.

what is this 18th century?

what is active ventilation system?

>Have no doubt that I would consider any of your smoke hitting my lungs

I will say this just once. DO NOT TREAD on my smoke. Don't you dare breathing it!

Learn to respect other peoples property you filthy commie.

This is what westerners have to deal with because of welfare and immigration.

Thanks jews.

>Very comfy, not in the best part of town but who cares.
You do, or you wouldn't have mentioned it

lol

>>renting is literally dead money you'll never see again
so is paying property taxes

had something similar in Japan (leopalace) the problem is that cooking smells linger on fabrics bed etc.

you can write off taxes tho

also in us many states have very low prop taxes

im not making fun of renters though most renters cant afford a down payment even if owning is cheaper than renting in the long run

Fellow Dutchfag, I have a 100k loan on a 215k home in a good part of town, paying the same as you are. I can't believe people waste money on rent and don't start saving when they're young, but I guess parents are to blame for not raising their kids properly.

I just checked and apparently the house is now 235k, and I only bought it just over a year ago. This can't be healthy for the market.

>Natural gas or electricity.
>being depended on pipes and cables

Why not having both electricity AND a fireplace? No, you KYS fucking pinko...

Trying to find this somewhere in Colorado.
Everything less than $2,000/m is either:

> Age Restricted (boomers only)
> "Income Restricted" (minorities only)
> Surrounded by homeless (pic related is $1,600/m apartments)

It costs $1,200/m to live in a fucking trailer park.

Even the empty lots without utilities are over $100k.

Attached: Homeless-Camps.JPEG-661c1-1024x713.jpg (1024x713, 175K)

1200sq ft house with a 1/2 acre yard in non ghetto area of St. Louis metro.
670 a month mortgage insurance and taxes.New York and cali prices are insane

Dipshits dont know jack about wood. kilo per kilo plywood is stronger then wood. The only advantage wood has vs plywood is water resistance, which if your house is properly built doesnt matter because the plywood is under a layer of brick or siding plus water barriers among other crap.
source: blue collar slumlord user

user Ive got some good news. Its time, for you tonneck yourself. 1mil give 50k a yr passive min, more if you just throw it into some rental properties and pay a repair bill here or there. I could make 250k a year off 1mil in the midwest off rental income bare minimum. You have no idea what your talking about, go shit on /pol or something

Based would be having a house/apartment and converting one of the rooms into a studio for you to live in like a NEET while you rent out the rest

If your parents are not assholes and they have a house/big flat, it is better to live with them and save money to invest.
If one day you have a gilfriend, make sure to make her pay half of the rent and live in a 2-3 room flat.

>working a wagie job to cover rent on your shoebox
>not living in your car/tent for a year while hustling multiple angles then using the cash to put a down payment on a modest house, renting out a room to cover your mortgage

You'd think video games would have taught millenials how to manage their limited time and resources, but apparently game addiction destroys your brain lol

You trade a shoebox where you have control over everything for a house that someone else will use as well (I see it as a 1-1 trade) and you get the privilege of living a year in a car for it. Kek, if you're not rich or have property already you can't escape wage slaving, you can pretend you're living the life but it's all in your head

tfw work from home but work in my bedroom. 5 feet away from my bed. is this why i clench my teeth at night?

> >$800
Fuck off.
T. NYC fag paying $850 for a room
