Who the fuck let Bill Cosby out of jail?

Interesting idea. Where is it traded?

Don't know, only just googled it myself after seeing this thread

It's about damn time!

There was a guy on here a few months ago talking about this. He said most land was bought using loans rather than being inherited and banks are currently losing their shit because once the land is taken the owner will just default on it.

Yeah. These niggers have been fed by whites for too long. About time they're let to starve to death.

This is brilliant. Need a list of all the SA banks.

Ah following the glorious lead of Rhodesia-->Zimbabwe. May they all starve to death.

Idd. Except it's going to be a lot worse in South Africa.

which of these companies should i short sell?

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_companies_of_South_Africa

Not just SA banks, but other global banks stupid enough to lend on the private market to SA.

This is what happens when the PC brigade takes a terrorist murderer and pretends he's black Jesus so they can have the ex-colonial diverse (black) socialist State they've always wanted. Works every time 0% of the time.

If this user is correct then we can expect to see banks to seize the land. Selling will be hard, so it'll most likely sit on their balance sheets for a while as they bleed from losses and further runs on the bank by a panicky public. Wary of lending, and wanting to increase capital stock (in case of major runs on the bank), banks will tighten their belts, reducing the circulation of money in the economy.
This will lead to higher interest rates. As smart investors (aka those with money) begin to funnel their capital into safer, foreign alternatives, the government will increase interest rates even further as the currency depreciates. This causes a vicious cycle, where inflation rises, so bonds are issued with high interest, and so on. One could potentially stand to make a lot of money by shorting the SA rand, although it could possibly rally slightly before it plummets. Alternatively, you could work some magic with bonds, shorting long-term and longing the newly issued high-interest bonds as the government panics.
For reference, the russian crisis of 1998 and the british 1992 currency crisis saw OVERNIGHT interest on certain bonds reach ludicrous levels (I can't honestly remember but I am sure it was upwards of 50%).
tl;dr depends on timing: short rand, short long-term bonds, buy new issues of high-interest bonds

This is all well and good if true but the Daily Star isn't known for its journalism. ANy more reliable sources running with this?

This is how you short South Africa

You buy shares of this

Because this is completely OUTSIDE OF SOUTH AFRICA (Canada and Alaska)

Why not buy some platinum directly?

You can do that too. It’s a safer strategy but less reward too.

So would buying Krugerands be a safe choice I have a feeling buying a dozen of those coins should net some profit once South Africa falls. Furthermore I wonder how long until mass starvation will settle in, 2 years maybe? Also I'm buying up some platinum and a few grams of palladium just to flip in a few years.

You’ll see mine production drop over the next 2 to 3 years to nearly zero

Actually longer than 3 years. Zimbabwe seized land in 2000

Mine production definitely drops off a cliff and it will go to ZERO

How long until China comes into South Africa and re-colonizes them without them even realizing it?

I believe so. The popular 1 oz. Coins become collectibles especially after the series is discontinued

you're joking but you can actually calculate that
just look at the life expectancy of any public system like railroad, roads, ports, etc
you have to ajust for the volume of use
then you will get the deadline for when it goes down

does this mean I buy shares in Russian platinum and palladium mines?

Seams like a good play

why don't we merely short the bank with the largest loan book?

bump for the only profitable idea on biz

You short SA by buying rare earths miners outside South Afirca. E.g. >50% of cobalt (in every single battery) is mined in Congo, and shipped via South African ports (worldview.stratfor.com/article/bringing-central-africas-minerals-port). Once the country completely collapses transportation will become difficult and expensive due to multiple bribes to different groups of blacks along the way.

You're looking at Platinum and Palladium but Cobalt is the way to go - any Cobalt producer outside of Congo, and preferably in North America/ Europe/ Australia is a good bet.

Implying the chinks won't just own these companies and hyper increase efficiency by using the broken nigger population as slaves

First and foremost - short the Rand. If nothing else do that. But do it soon, it's getting priced in, waiting until the seizures start will be too long.

KEK they will short themselves into oblivion.
