I see many people, especially BTC maximalists, saying ETH is a shitcoin. They say it can never work and is pretty much one big scam. But then I see others saying ETH is the future and price will eventually make new ATH. Which side is right?
Unironically, is ETH a shitcoin or is it good?
fuck jannies
I buy eth to trade for alt coins because it's easier to see would never hold long term
Neither side is right before reality unfolds
It's a fork of bitconnect
Buy monero digits will confirm
ETH has an actual use case for tokenization and smart contracts (MakerDao, DEXs, etc)
It isn't going away and that should be all you need to know.
With staking you'll earn interest on a appreciating asset. If that doesn't make you hard, seek help
It's Proof of Stake. Bitcoin can be forked and be programmable in the future. Ethereum will never be Proof of Work.
Mmmmmm mmmmmmm this user is sexy and correct
ETH had a great idea in that they created a link between computation and cost (gas cost to execute code in the EVM), and to make it decentralized and immutable
where ethereum FUCKED COMPLETELY UP was the lack of scaleability. the whole network clogs at a fucking shitty app (cryptokitties), and there is no FUCKING PROGRESS on the scaleability of the eth, undermining its main purpose.
given the lack of progress, delay of serenity (seriously, they dont even have an ETA on this and will likely never deliver it anyway), ethereum is bound to fall below than its 10-dollar USD mark.
utter shit coin which is bound to be replaced by better networks: stellar, cardano. fuck me even EOS is a better alternative than eth right now
