>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
>why QLD for 2x leverage when you can get 3x with TQQQ? Because of the decay of leveraged ETFs. Over the long term 2x leverage is more profitable, pic related.
and this actually downplays the quality that 2x provides, it includes all the early market volatility when nobody knew what they are doing
i bet if you do the same work that the article those charts came from from say 1950-current times the best leverage is closing in on 3x
of course at that point you are in REAL trouble during recessions but theoretically i bet 2.5x~ is superior.
it is funny sometimes how people just take 1x leverage/SPY/QQQ as gospel and think anything beyond 1x is some sort of margin scam, when in reality tehre is no real reason for 1x to be the standard except thats just what people started buying in the markets to begin with.
2x is based and superior in all forms if you have iron hands, get with the program brehs

Does anyone have the angry GE wojak? That's basically my >inherited stock right now.
Dominic Lee
Based and leveragepilled. I dollar cost average into QLD/SSO as often as I can, the higher risk during recessions doesn't bother me at all.

Oh, cool.
Short term bearish trend is over. This is too much buying and too much green. World markets green. Futures green. Things are going to go up for at least a few weeks here. Probably bullish until the annual late Jan/Feb blowoff.
Only on a couple stocks so far. Like NBEV and CWEB are pretty inflated but there are lots of other dude weed companies that stand to benefit that have not pumped yet. Probably not tomorrow on the news, moreso on supply agreements in coming weeks and eventually financials in 2019.

Curious what are Biz's thoughts on Nat Gas? Brokedown out of the bull flag in the developing triangle, but inventory report in the morning and plenty of winter left.
Looking to invest my savings into Activision Blizzard in a few months before World of Warcraft Classic launches. Anyone else with a similar idea?

ECB LEAVES RATES UNCHANGED * ECB PLANS TO STOP NET ASSET PURCHASES AT END-DEC. 2018 * ECB TO FULLY REINVEST QE PROCEEDS FOR EXTENDED PERIOD AFTER FIRST RATE RISE
The ECB expects the interest rates to “remain at their present levels at least through the summer of 2019”
is this how dead economy looks like thanks Germany
I honestly don't know if they can recover to their past ATH. Everything they come out with are just dying, Warcraft 3 reforged and classic WoW is their most hyped titles for 2019. Can classic WoW save them from their declining sub count? Maybe. But it takes more than that to get Blizzard back to the ATH. Maybe the Diablo mobile version will actually do good (thanks to asia) while classic WoW and retail WoW combined will keep the sub count higher than usual.
I think they will go down more though, they might turn bullish again in a year from now now the numbers are in for Diablo mobile and classic WoW.
IN OTHER NEWS! GE up almost 13% in pre-market

...is this another bulltrap or are we finally back for realsies?

Precisely my thoughts, although I think the hype for Classic is tremendously under-reported. I will be taking notes of their other planned releases and earning reports and how this affects their rating before committing big time. At the very least Classic will result in a huge growth for the first month or two. Afterwards I do not care what happens as I plan to sell it within that period.

That is bullish user Why hike rates in the middle of Global trade war ? Remember that in the EU we pay more taxes than Co's in US, so it levels the field a little bit by not hiking rates. Hopefully the FED will decrease the rates just a little bit and US signs a fu king economic threaty in Jan-Feb with the chinese.

If we knew a recession was coming for suresies it woild already start getting priced in, the thing with recessions is that you normally never see em coming. Offc there will be more recessions in the near and far future, precisely how and when is a mystery to everyone
