This guy cofounded Hyperledger and completely BTFO LINK in this tweet. I could really go for some insider LARP to smooth this one over. Not good.
Hyperledger integration isn't happening for Chainlink

A YEAR LATER WHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
YOU EVEN GOT DOUBLE DIGITS WTFFFFF HAS KEK ABANDONED US???????
RREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeee
What's the point of this stupid shit? Someone too stupid to go to Twitter and read a post doesn't have much money. This isn't profitable. It doesn't confuse anyone who knows how to turn a door handle.
The more I think about it though, why was he looking for #chainlink on Twitter though? That's the only way he would have found this.
Just sell. None of you foghanded faggots deserve to make it, honestly.
its funny
it's funny for your fellow faggots in IRC who you tell you're posting stupid shit on biz. i'm not laughing though. this garbage is why everyone screeches "fuck biz i'm not telling them anything". quality thread attract people of value. shit threads like this attract more of you.
Hyperledger integration is pretty fucking key at this point. If you don't think so, you're delusional.
> shit threads like this attract more of you
yet here you are...
Explain why this is shit and not important? IT'S THE FUCKING CO-FOUNDER OF HYPERLEDGER YOU FUCK.
Im in several discords and biz is a better source of info than all of them. The best threads (no, not larpblaster or any of the other loudly wrong idiots) get ignored. If you weren't so busy being a buttmad fagbag you would know that.
I went and searched #chainlink on Twitter and found a hot Asian chick who posts about chainlink and follows porn stars. How come she has never been posted about here? Seems like prime biz marriage material.
Spare me the lecture, child. I am The_Crypto_Oracle.
I dunno, I wanna see if we can get him to fud link even more.
just a theory the more he attacks it the higher the price goes.
>he still thinks he's going to make it holding link
>I am The_Crypto_Oracle
>admitting this
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
I read through a bunch of this guy's tweets
he just seems very selective about where blockchain is useful and where it isn't. The tweet he was replying to may have been the latter instance?
Fuck you, trash. This is why I left you all for Twitter. At least there I'm appreciated.
I don't see the context of this tweet with LINK. It looks like just a random reply about blockchain.
Fresh off the press: December 13th medium.com
Best investment of your life time right here. Will you take 5 minutes to read it?
PROOF I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG.
Tzero will use FLO.

This is the next 20-40x easy and #confirmed.
Literally replying to a post about LINK. I find it interesting how we would have come across this in the first place though.
Chainlink shills are annoying. Go build something
dude link that shit
t. larping faggit
> go to check and see if OP's pic is actually real
> find this instead
You have a cute way of shilling link
fuck off you fucking faggot
kys
saw that, wonder what he means by elephant and missing piece?
I JUST SOLD
He also likes and talks about Chainpoint and Tieron. Isn't that combination some sort of competition to Chainlink?
Ok, I just bought 1 BTC worth. Don't you fuck me on this, or I WILL find you and split your logs, if you know what I'm getting at. I have a very big dick, wide too. Not gay, just know how to get even.
He's actually right. I don't use twitter but occasionally read tweets when someone posts them here. All those faggots shilling link or ripple in the comments look stupid and cringy af
And actually, isn't he saying that Chainlink isn't the actual oracle solution in this tweet as well? He's not agreeing with @silentWhstBlwr.
this one this newer than this
maybe he changed his opinion.
>the biggest crypto revolution of 2018 are oracles
guess he was wrong
sage, kys idiots.
It honestly doesn't make sense that a guy so bullish on ethereum would reply the way he did in the OP if it is meant to be taken at face value... it could be cope on my part, but he definitely knows it's not just a matter of convincing a bunch of companies to put their information into a database - unless he knows that there's something which can be offered in a completely secure manner which they can trust - I'm not sure what else he could be referring to.
literally my thoughts
Maybe he likes this
chainpoint.org
he does play antagonist in a lot of his tweets, hard to tell desu, but I agree it is hard to think of what else he could be reffering to that would help enterprise load their data to the database. Maybe something to do with TEE, ZKP, ans RNG using town crier/sgx hardware on the link network. Im grasping at straws, but I cant think of what else it could be.
Someone posted a reply to that tweet 2 minutes ago with this account. That means someone in this thread owns this account.
>LINKtards are bagholding so hard that they have to promote their shitty token themselves
Lmao.
He's saying either Chainlink or some new added LINK functionality (like direct payment APIs or working SGX enclaves or ZKSNARK-enabled offchain computing) is the elephant -> "But we may have just found the missing piece." is definitely referring to LINK, otherwise he wouldn't have responded to that tweet.
He was definitely trolling in the Dec 2nd tweet as evidenced by the fact that he responded directly to an unknown Link shill account and referenced the Gartner hype cycle. He knows we're shameless moonboys who are looking for any scrap of hype possible.
He is talking about Rhombus
>He's saying either Chainlink or some new added LINK functionality (like direct payment APIs or working SGX enclaves or ZKSNARK-enabled offchain computing)
Good thought - this makes his previous retweet with pic related pretty interesting
> He knows we're shameless moonboys who are looking for any scrap of hype possible.
Much of his twitter shows open contempt for moonboy types because they make it hard to get the tech adopted.
>what would help enterprise load their data to the database
an ethernet cord
By elephant he means a BIG developer and guess what piece is he looking for.
Chainlink One Thousand Beri EOY
I have been saying this shit for months. Non-PoW crypto = glorified database with bells and whistles. .
Now that I think about it some more, the "elephant in the room" might refer to both added functionality AND a large partnership/integration with someone who should probably care about public oracles coming on the scene soon. Something like how Paypal just integrated with coinbase for withdrawals, coinbase just listed LINK among a dozen shitcoins to be presumably listed, it's not a stretch to think that LINK might interface directly with paypal account APIs soon for smart contract payment processing (get paid in crypto, instantly convert to cash or vice versa).
>Elephant could be either coinbase or paypal.
>Or Binance since they've been hoarding LINK tokens for their eventual DEX launch
>Or Vitalik since he's the secret LINK puppetmaster and never mentions it publicly
>Or Sergey since he's reached critical body mass
You fags are stupid as fuck. This guy doesn't know shit about chainlink.
Junko Suzuki is a dude larping as a cute asian girl and might possibly be the most retarded link shill on twitter.
> Dec 1 - tweet indicating that he's studying chainlink and makes it clear that he isn't criticising it
> tweets after this start mentioning a big elephant in the room and he now seems to be replying to random chainlink posts
Nah, guessing that he's talking about chainlink is a fair stab in the dark at this point. Very few people really seem to be aware that the project exists much less how it will work.
I guess just to clarify - it's a stab in the dark as far as it isn't confirmed, but it's definitely a possibility considering everything else.
this is actually pretty funny
and nice two pair dubs
I missed that - nice find. Chainlink has definitely caught this dude's attention and anything which helps to solidify the hold we believe CL has is good news.
I don't mind fud threads sometimes.
wow the bad news just keeps coming
that's not a "nice find". he tweeted that literally 20 minutes ago
Ok, now it for sure sounds like one of the various flavors of private off-chain computation scaling solutions. Lots of math, very promising for adding to oracle functionality.
This is for sure the worst chainlink FUD ever.
Delusional faggots
>but I bet it will help chainlink a lot
did you even read it?
Here’s a bone for you autists.
>Elephant in the room.
WASM
>Will help Chainlink
What is Rust? How does this relate to WASM?
You should dig.
Holy shit. Real time FUD. Well we need to find out wtf he's talking about.
how the fuck is that fud you imbecile
This isn't necessarily bad for Chainlink at all. He's talking about the other piece of the oracle puzzle, and if Chainlink can integrate it into what they do, then maybe the oracle problem will actually be fully solved.
what is he problem though? no one seems to know this elephant in the room is. any geniuses want to explain?
We don't know what it is yet. Hopefully he's not talking about another oracle solution. It sounds like something that will help Chainlink become the entire solution. We'll see. The fact that it's not Chainlink directly is kind of a let down. We'll see.
Scaling is still a road block is it not
>doing it for appreciation
That's what LARPers are.
I think it is about scaling and off chain computation.
If what Sergey said was true running a TEE could allow the processing of data off chain and avoid clogging the Eth network so the hash power can be used only to confirm the data was processed.
If crypto kitties basically crashed the network we will never reach mass adoption until the scaling can be fixed.
My guess is that what he said is about TEEs and their importance in scaling.
have you all forgotten ?
Oh shit. This is about that group of Devs on San Francisco isn't it. Shit. What was their name?
You lazy faggots don’t deserve this.
github.com
I also think he's talking about TEE's. If he's going through the whitepaper right now, he's aware of the integration with SGX and that this is an emerging synergistic technology. Both as a scaling solution to unclog on chain computations, but also of enormous importance is preserving privacy of sensitive data.
media.consensys.net
>But security is about BOTH things:
> 1. anti-tampering
> 2. anti-surveillance
>Public main-nets are good at #1 and for obvious reasons bad at #2. Private databases are good at #2, bad at #1. Private blockchains aren’t very good at either one: 10 parties maintaining a distributed ledger on a permissioned network can easily collude and tamper with history or censor an otherwise valid transaction, but now you have 10 mirrors to hack into and see the data…10x more threat surface than a conventional Oracle database. Better hope every one of the IT managers in your consortium is as good as the best one!
>But what if you could get the anti-surveillance power of a private network that only you and your counterparties ever see but have it secured against tampering and collusion (without leaking private information) by a strong global pubic main-net? And what if you could use that same root network to help avoid some of the hazards of coordinating logic and data across multiple state machines (e.g., race conditions, deadlocks, non-determinism)?
SGX is utilized by using Rust. So what's the big deal? We know LINK has been working in this arena.
WASM is going to be big. A huge use case is TEE. Who is the gatekeeper now?
twitter.com
Whoever the unofficial Chainlink marketing is knows this answer. They should drop it in this thread.
I guess it's Chainlink since Sergey bought the rights to Town Crier?
I’d say that’s a reasonable conclusion.
He's talking about Lucidity.
You're misreading.
Why does he keep linking Gartner into this?
I don't see the connection between them.
Probably because of the Gartner smart contract adoption forecasting they did. Don’t have the infograph with me now but has been posted before.
Check Wolpert's twitter likes. He's just discovered it, and they are working on a sidechain on Ethereum to solve scalability, which is the elephant in the room.
Is eth and link the god tier portfolio?
yes + monero
Don't have high enough cashflow to invest in 3 different projects...I guess I'll just stick with eth and link for now.
So what though. That yellow paper has been out for months and multiple teams are working on similar implimentations of scaling.
You have to remember that people like this also live in an echo chamber, and when in a position like this their conclusions are rarely challenged. They are demi-gods in their own short lived bubbles and that, like shitcoins, evolution will eliminate most of these arrogant fucks from the ecosystem in the next 12-18 months. This guy might be a literal who in 2020
All I am saying is it's very possible that Wolpert THINKS it's the next big thing and seems very impressed by the tech. It may or may not be, but it's worth looking into when the founder of hyperledger takes interest.
You're right, I am not saying we should go all in, just keep an eye on it.
Reasonable point.
I don't even know what they are talking about. This shit is way too esoteric for me.
Yes, reminder plox
archived thread that talked about this meme a while back. still not convinced overall but have a look and see for yourself
