Uncle Sam gives you a tax break and you are too retarded to take it?

I love just putting his interviews in the background when im just sitting around. I learn something every time he speaks, dude is truly a brilliant businessman. Charlie munger is brilliant as well

>lol only slaves and cucks work, it's ok if you identify as such
>gf, no kids, gonna have to import more 3rd worlders to keep the your ponzi going
>commercial real estate, cuck house lol
>top kek, kinda locking your funds for 30 years into the states coffers then asking some of it back later, literally cuck-tier move
also relying on the state for gibs after 60, top cuck

All in all, your networth may be 0.5-1.5 mil, but you are still a slave to the system.

Two of these are not like the others.

>tax break
>savings locked away for 30+ years unless you're willing to pay both taxes and a penalty fee

Retard fell for the roth meme, I see.

>be me
>slav
>family pretends to be poor as fuck
>they actually make a lot of money for this shithole
>never had anything of my own in my life
>worked for 4 years to get to uni
>dad gets cancer before i finished with it so got to go back with a shitty useless bachelors degree
>but thats ok
>get a job
>industry i have my job in dies so I get fired and there is no way I can use my degree now
>dad dies
>but thats ok
>sent to tend for another cancer ridden relative cause no money no job
>mentally destroyed at that point
>at least she gets better
>return to shithole
>try to find another job, got stuck with conscription weighting over me, can't really do that because health though, but can't really get a job before i'm done with thier paperwork
>year lost
>get somewhat of a job, unofficial
>thing that provides my job has an incident and is forced to close so I'm out
>got some money but not enough to move out yet, pretty much desperate
>heavy manual labor is the only option for now
>fuck up my health to a point where I have to get 2 surgeries and waste most of my money on it
>28, can't walk for at least 3 more months
>what even do now
>look at crypto, but don't put any money yet
>watch crypto bubble bursts
>get some free shit
>basically 0.05 eth at the start of february
>turn said 0.05 in $10k by now
Will I make it bros? Please tell me I will.

Roth is paid with post-tax money and doesn't have penalties for withdrawing your contribution(it was already taxed, duh). What the fuck are you on about, you monkey?

A penalty for early withdrawal you dumb dumb

Uhh, no. Time to brush up on your tax laws buddy.

Sorry. You are retarded.

I feel like personal finance should be a mandatory public school class, right after Algebra II. How much better could people potentially make themselves, forget about how they think about the world around them?

There are reasons it’s not taught in school. Among them is that you’d have to pay anyone worth a shit more than $45k a year, and another is that the a dumbed down populous is more advantageous to “them.”

Well I've got a 401k. I'll dance myself out.

Hey now. My wife is a teacher and she makes $46k a year! Thank goodness she's not teaching finance, too. (I'm agreeing with you)

I generally lean against big government, but I think education is something that is way underfunded and the root of the problem with our country. I digress.

Something I think is funny, is that no one assumes you can teach kids anything unless they are graded... that’s another conversation entirely. But finance would probably be fertile testing ground for an ungraded program.

Yeah, don't get me started. I went to a tech school and the most financial thing I was taught(I graduated in 2001) was how to properly fill out a check, and how to calculate _simple_ interest. It wasn't even a serious lesson, at that - just a passer-by. I'm in my 30s and didn't learn this stuff that I consider absolutely essential until my later life, and on my own volition. I'd be so much better off.

keep pushing fren
