Greater Depression General
Genius, retirement funds are for long term investing and you still earn dividends. You're probably 17 working at mcdonalds with a couple hundred dollars to your name. You don't know anything.
What if you are retired and relying on those funds, and they start shrinking massively? Back to work for mom and dad.
fixed rate securities?
i have my own property, so the worst thing that can happen is no electricity, food or water. In that case i'll start to farm
As if boomers have these. They fully believe in the lie of perpetual market growth.
You weren't even alive in 2008, brainlet
lol no, they can buy a Winnebago and live out of that for all I care. Thinking videogames and pressuring their kids to go all in for uni is a substitute for parenting, and still being too fucking selfish to stay together for longer than half a childhood. They made their bed. I remember begging my mum, literally begging her to sell her house in 2006 to erase all her long standing post divorce debt, and she got BTFO during the 2008 meltdown so she is already used to scrambling during hard times.

They knew you were a brainet. you can just thank them for letting you have a hedonistic childhood, and be hapoy while yiu stilk could. You were never going to make it anyways
My whole life has been a great depression. Nothing will change for me.
