I'm back doing these now.

KMD is one of the only projects actually solving problems in crypto space. For example, take the velocity problem. A user wants to avoid the volatility of crypto so they hold fiat, convert to crypto seconds before sending a tx, and the recipient immediately converts back to fiat. It's a pretty fundamental problem that prevents crypto being used a a sov, instead ending up as a payment settlement layer only. So what do KMD do? You earn rewards for keeping your funds in Agama wallet (also had ledger support prior to the sapling hardfork earlier this month). That's right, hold your funds in Agama and you will rack up 5.12% "interest" per year by simply clicking a "claim now" button monthly when you log into Agama. This will continue up to block 7777777 approx 12 years from now. Does you bank account give you 5.12%? My top tip to you is this; buy some KMD with the intention of holding until block rewards cease and the natural selling pressure of miners / notary nodes is relieved. By that point you will be holding between 1.8 and 2 times your initial in KMD. No-one is going to get rich quick on crypto unless you gamble. But if you are long sighted enough, you can make it. And you will make it with KMD

it's essentially bitcoindark 2, with some new features and less obvious focus on clandestine/anonymity issues.
shame there are so many of them though. hundreds of millions, verus, i forget how many BTCD. 5 mill? so we won't see BTCD prices. maybe 100k satos tops. still, with jl777 developing it and a current value well below that, i'm buying.

i can't tell what to make of the main dev. he seems to have a lot of knowledge and vision, and importantly, poloniex's trollbox, which was filled with knowledgeable traders and devs, seemed to endlessly sing his praises. his projects have substantial money pumped into them and there's definitely money to be made at this point i think, but i can't figure out whether his old projects die because he's scamming, or because he's uncommitted, or because of something else. people in the btct thread raise this point more than once. his response is that old projects aren't all dead. but... now some months after his response, they ARE dead... so yeah. i'm not sure what to make of the dude but i'll definitely buy then set a sell order pretty much straight away for 100k, then forget about it for a couple of years.

It's a community-made graphic to try and explain KMD. Basically, talk to jl777 in the discord and he'll explain something, then you have to try and find a way to put that in layman's terms. So no, the "buzzwords' aren't KMD marketing bullshit, it's someone just trying to explain as best they can

Agreed, previous projects are a good indicator- definitely something to look at when you dyor. This and jl777 being user were the biggest worries for me
