is it true that landing and takeoff is automatically handled by the plane itself these days?

Attached: handjob.jpg (552x658, 36K)

En el culo no...NOOOOOO!!!

I Dont believe you

yes and no. It really depends on the airport. If you're landing in say: London-Heathrow, then it's most likely automated since the weather is so shitty. Otherwise it's mostly manual even in places like Chicago O'hare

I wonder if cars or planes will be fully automated first. Feels like it would be easiest for planes, no obstacles and two dudes in a flight tower can cover 100 planes and remote control them in case anything goes wrong.

Fucking women like that in the ass

i was lying :^)

>t. has never flown a plane

I'm very good at ladies

Shitposting.

Aren't most commercial flights automated to a large degree and the pilots just mainly do take off and landing, and are there in case they are needed if something goes wrong with the auto pilot, or for emergencies.

no

wow don't you realize what has been happening to your industry? Pilots aren't going away but they are going to a $15hr job that anyone can do after 4 weeks of training.

Once AI does 100% of the flight (instead of the 95% it does now), Chainlinked smartcontracts will cancel insurance contracts as soon as a human touches the controls.

Not at all

>pilots are going to easily give up their $100K or more a year jobs
As much as I don't trust them, the unions wont stand for this

The AI manages the plane flawlessly, the two dudes will only need to monitor 99% of the week and step into a replica cabin for remote controlling when needed. I know that empty feeling of impending doom bro.

This is the only reason why it will take longer than it could take to replace human pilots with AI, but if you could fly at half price I'm sure more and more will take the chance especially since AI trips will just show more and more that they are just as safe over time.

till theres a horrifying crash killing many

>there's no such thing as software bugs

Just from the titles it says cockpit landing. Did you even read my post. I said aside from landing and take off, AI's do most of the flying once they are in midair.

I've read stuff before on aviation and also on crash investigation stuff and I've heard multiple times that during long international flights, the pilot doesn't do much and just lets auto pilot take over and they are guided by pre planned GPS navigation routes.

Why has Trump been talking about abolishing the FAA?

the big players will just create new companies and transfer their assets for huge tax incentives while screwing over the troglodytes. Society as a whole benefits while a greedy bunch of weirdos don't get to walk into a bar wearing their uniform and bang 5's.

Lol

>there's no such thing as malfunctioning control panels

there are crashes with pilots as well
