Degrees arent required per se. I have a high school diploma and dropped out of JC. I'm also extremely intelligent, so my situation is likely very uncommon. Demonstrable skill and passion to keep up with it all is most important. As far as certs go, CISSA/P. You need 4 years verifiable experience in one of the security domains to get P, but anyone can take the exam and get CISSA. ITIL is useful for mature organizations, but is unrelated to security. GSEC fundamentals are decent. Hell, you can probably get a junior level position with just a comptia sec+ cert, so long as you're not a moron.

Anytime a pajeet touches something it goes to shit. and they don't "know English", they make a shitty attempt that they probably copy pasted from somewhere which doesn't translate into a real meaning except by sheer luck. There are like 65,000 US visas for foreign workers handed out every year user. But there are hundreds of thousands of IT jobs that go unfilled. There were actually 6 million unfilled jobs in 2017. The unfilled number is really high in IT.

And, honestly you don't even have to be technical to work in technology. A lot of jobs in like Project Manager, Business Analyst, Change Manager, etc just means you need to be familiar with terms which you can by just being friendly with people working in technology. A a lot of jobs are just being able to talk the talk and navigate your way in the corporate bureaucratic loop.

Come on man, PMs, BAs, software devs, sys admins can all be remote or at worst you make an appearance at work a couple days a week.
