On October 29th, the Binance wallet was filled with 1.8 million SKY (out of 11m circulating).

Binance froze the BTC due to suspicious activity but it hasn't released it to either party yet. The case will be judged by a Chinese court, which will then direct Binance to release the funds to one of the parties - either Synth or the kidnappers, whoever wins the case.
Court case is bullish as fuck. I had my doubts about Sky initially but assuming they win the case and use all that stolen money to speed up the development we are in for quite the moon mission.

Not only does Skycoin have it's own blockchain, but every project that launches on Skycoin Fiber also gets its own dedicated blockchain (like MDL, Solarbankers, KittyCash etc).

I was thinking about this a while ago, all the other platforms have a first mover advantage with regards to DApp development and a lot of them have rolled out gambling applications that quite a few people use. However all of these platforms charge for every transaction and for every smart contract, while SKY is completely feeless because of its own internal economy with generated CoinHours. Even though $0.01 is nothing for a person who places bets on dice, it starts to add up for DApps that require millions of microtransactions. Something like automated trading on a DEX will be inefficient if there are fees for every microtransaction. I picked up a bag of SKY at $0.85 because at this point, it has become practical to actually use the network for its VPN. If it goes to $100 then great, if not, then I'll at least has access to one of the fastest VPNs out right now.

Why is a testnet having any monetary value. Any other crypto testnet has no value whatsoever.
