I make ~$8,700 per month with niche websites. I haven't touched them in the past 6 months.

Ask me anything about it. I'll be here for a bit.

What niches? If you won't tell us which sites exactly

Ad revenue?

dropshipping or what

how long ago did you start them? they just simple blogs? elaborate on their content and complexity

how do you monetize them?
how do you get traffic?
what does the content look like?

You and I, we're obviously coerced, but that doesn't mean the same thing just a better version of it. Hodl is the way it is now, during the next run-up it will be measured before all transactions in the blockchain in the future.

One is in sports, the other is in health supplements for a targeted audience

My ad revenue last month was around 5k. All the rest is affiliate sales

No. They're blogs.

I started the Sports one 2 years ago, the supplement one was started 1.5 years ago

>how do you monetize them?
Ads (not adsense) and affiliate programs

>how do you get traffic?
Organic search traffic (Google)

>what does the content look like?
Not too sure what you mean by this. They're blog posts, each ranging from 1,500-4000 words with information related to the niche

how do you go about choosing/researching your topics? is there a process?

Do you pay for a SEO service?

What's the best way to rank in Google after perfecting your on-page SEO?

do you sell something on the blog sites, or are they strictly content? What is the sport site structure? I was thinking about doing writeups after sports games for a team that I already watch and just do a review of how the game went. It's not exactly niche since it's a major league team, but how difficult would that be to monetize?

What ads are you using

What kind of software did you use to create the blogs? What about logos and design work, what was your works flow process? Did you hire any freelancers?
How long did it take on average to get a blog up and running (first revenue coming in)

Attached: 1531537711403.gif (480x480, 88K)

I have 10 yo domain, with Page rank 7/10, tons of backlinks and DA 86, but I don’t use it. What I should do?

Also do you started on new domains?

Can you leave some contacts of yours?

Do you write the blogs yourself or outsource?

how many articles your sites have? Also how long articles on average?

Pick a topic, literally anything. Chances are there are piss-poor results for particular questions on google. You can always outrank poor content with good blog posts.

No, I don't. I didn't start seeing results until I stopped all the black hat SEO practices.

I create good content that people need answers to. Google rewards me with good content. I've never built a backlink for any of these sites.

I don't sell my own products, but I recommend affiliate programs. You could monetize that, but you're limiting your traffic to people who are only interested in that team. You're better off writing blog posts for that sport as a whole -- not one specific team. You'll open the door for more traffic options

They're just simple wordpress CMS blogs. You can create a logo in MS paint if you wanted and still earn what I earn (I don't recommend it, it's better to look professional). I hired some freelancers to help me pump out content faster.

It took around 6 months before I even got my first $5. from there is really started to snowball.

Are they good backlinks or bad backlinks? There's a lot that goes into using expired domains. These domains were new when I started.

80% outsource
20% write myself

I like aiming for 50-70 articles on each site each varying between 1,500 minimum - 5,000 maximum words

I'm unironically starting a affiliate blog today. Is black hat still the best jump off point? I think I have a niche in the sector work in. Any other tips for a new starter?

See my response to post I don't suggest black hat methods. Google cracks down on people who use them and they complain every. single. time.

I moved away from that. I pick a topic, and answer questions relating to the niche that I know I'd be able to rank for. (no other real competition).

Pick your niche wisely. Don't make it so obscure no one is searching for it. Don't make it so popular that it's so competitive that you'll never rank.

>80% outsource
>20% write myself
how do you find people who are capable of writing an informed article on what you're looking for? seems like if their niche topics it would be hard to find someone knowledgeable enough to write the article

So all you do is write articles on wordpress and let it sit? You don't advertise on Reddit or Quora or anything?

I post job descriptions on upwork that ask if they've ever had experience in **specific niche**.

I only hire people who know what they're doing. But, this can be flexible for certain niches. Some niches can be bullshitted better than others.

I do some pinterest posting

How long would you say it takes to rank a new site?

Do you buy expired domains? Brand new domains?

Congrats on the earnings. I used to do Blackhat Aff marketing back in the day but have been out of touch for a while.

>tfw don't know anything I could write about

There's a lot that goes into ranking a website. Competition, amount of content, etc.

A blog post can rank within 24 hours, but I don't EXPECT to see ANY TRAFFIC until the first 6 months. This keeps my expectations low and my motivation high. These are realistic time frames for real traffic

1. has writer's block
2. write a blog dedicated to fixing writer's block
3. ????
4. Profit!!

>Are they good backlinks or bad backlinks?
They are all good. I have some free stuff there.

Thanks for the reply. Advice heeded.

How do you know what kind of ads to use? Do you use banners or some pop-ups? I'd imagine you pick ones that match the niche and aren't too intrusive.

>2. write a blog dedicated to fixing writer's block
but I don't know how to fix it
how do you pick a topic?
just completely random and then just bullshit around?

Ad Brokers place display ads on your site. I don't select which ads are going to be shown.

What are your hobbies? Pick a niche you know about.

This is fantastic !

Just bought a domain "livingwith.info" for this purpose. I do have that _chronic_diseaseX_ and planning to write 1500+ posts. Revenues will be some ads + affiliate to supplements.

What ad provider should I consider (no Google AdSense) ?

how do the ads work? are you paid just to have them or paid for click throughs?
And do you have to provide traffic numbers to get them to put ads on your blog?

>What are your hobbies?
shitposting, crypto and porn

Attached: 1495496859399.jpg (660x574, 31K)

>.info
oof

It might be a good idea, but please pick a better tld.

It's paid via RPM (revenue per 1,000 impressions). They don't have to be clicked like Adsense ads.

These bigger ad brokers typically want developed websites with 40,000 page views per month. They require an approval process.

dude, make a porn blog, you may even get an in to the industry
review scenes, actresses, production houses, events, products, etc.

there's literally so much material in crypto and porn bro
even shitposting could make a cool blog

To be fair, I bet there is someone making a killing with a basic blog on shitposting, crypto and even porn. Apparently you just need to have answers to questions that have poor coverage online.

>80% outsource
>20% write myself
How many different blogs did you run and how much posting (like how often) when it was just you starting out vs now with hired hands?

Make a crypto blog. There's tons of google search suggestions for blog posts to write. Make them longer and better content than the articles ranking on page one.

Go to google and type in
"what is bitcoin a"
"what is bitcoin b"
"what is bitcoin c"

and go through the entire alphabet. You'll probably have 200 topics to write about.

Then do it with different wording "is bitcoin a". etc etc.

If you come across a topic where the first result is not an "authority" such as a huge, established crypto blog, you have a topic on your hands.

This is what I use for any other niche. Just replace "bitcoin" above with your niche and voila..You've got topics to rank

who hosts the websites?

thank you user, you are truly a motivation.
how I get started?
where can I set up that blog? where I need to sign up?
do I need to make a website or how does it work?

where can I learn how to set up all that stuff?

Attached: 1501722779131.jpg (400x400, 17K)

>Apparently you just need to have answers to questions that have poor coverage online.
So what's the trick to figuring out the questions with poor coverage in a given domain?

I actually know ten million shitloads about music, and VSTs/ DAWs in particular. I could write about literally anything related to this but not sure how to identify profitable questions to write about.

Would I have very little success if my blog doesn’t focus on answering questions?
What if it’s a blog on experiencing a particular thing like learning a skill or sharing growth in a particular topic? Would humbleness and genuine writing be enough?

what if I just write reviews about JAVs?
can I make money with that?

Attached: sad frog chinese.png (200x194, 31K)

Plenty of videos on youtube on how to make a website with wordpress.

Use the method I used above here That's fine too. If your niche is guitar, you could write blog posts about "15 tips for guitar beginners".

Are you interested into a .com domain regarding crypto? I had the idea to make aquivialent to CMC just for exchange listing prices and not crypto prices. But I dont have time for it right now....
[email protected] - if you are interested....

Attached: eeeere.png (687x216, 26K)

Holy shit, you just gave me an idea that might be worth millions. Thank you user.

You can make money with anything

no give my idea back

Attached: 1327253250242.jpg (191x205, 18K)

What's your opinion on wordpress vs. bootstrap sites?

Have you seen any difference in ranking them?

Wordpress is great. It's easier to use and works perfectly every time

Why not just use apache with multiple domains on a VPS...? Not hard to set up and it costs $3 a month for fucks sake

pls get them to reform JAV, user
too much piss, too much armpit licking, it has so much potential if they can class it up a bit more

how much do you usually pay when you outsource an article?

Oh, I meant what if I blogged about my experience learning a new skill?
Say for example—I don’t know anything about films, I’m gonna blog about learning about films and my experience with it and my reviews on films as I get more experienced with the art form . (Just an example) but would anyone give a shit about somebody learning something like that.

2 cents per word

It might be worth a shot, but I don't see the potential in it to be honest. People search google for answers not journeys. This is why I like picking a topic, and providing an answer very simply.

----
Aaaaand on that note, it's time for me to hit the hay, lads. I might be back here in the morning (if the threads still up).

where do you outsource to?

I'm going to make a blog with only japanese women getting boned by white penises. A curated porn blog of only videos I like. I always thought I had good taste in porn, but now I will out it to the test. It will either be a humbling or profitable experience. I hope profitable, because I just lost 150K in the stock market and only make like $20 per hour.

Good to know. Thanks for the info.

What are your thoughts on a non-specific blog? Basically where I could write not just about a target topic, but all the topics I have expertise and interest in.

Thx for all the tips, btw.

I was thinking about something similar, just writing reviews about my favorite porn videos.
there is thousands of them so I could make that very easily.

anyone knows what I need to know about making such a porn site? can I host that wherever I want?

Attached: 1506723653804.png (659x525, 164K)

>Go to google and type in
>"what is bitcoin a"
>"what is bitcoin b"
>"what is bitcoin c"

>and go through the entire alphabet. >You'll probably have 200 topics to write about.

That’s a fantastic tip. It’s people like you who who make Jow Forums not a complete shithole.

Especially the language barrier, I believe there are probably countless hours of translating or describing etc you could do.

No idea about hosting, but you should get started. Your last two posts have been dubs.

>I create good content that people need answers to. Google rewards me with good content. I've never built a backlink for any of these sites.

How do people find your sites in the first place, before you're well ranked in Google? Do you post them just anywhere at first? Feels spammy whenever I do that even when the content is good but I don't know how else to spread the word about sites like this.
I doubt Google just lists random sites that match some search words that nobody has ever linked or talked about, right?

Is hosting Wordpress on digital ocean with there $5/month droplet a good way to into blogging?

I get even more ideas just thinking about it, maybe I should really do it.
setting everything up is probably the biggest hurdle.

anyone knows what would be the best place to set up a pornographic centered blog?

Attached: feeling good man.jpg (396x388, 62K)

$10 a month for BlueHost. Doesn't worth so much work.

Op, just came here to thank you!
THANKS OP!

Does JAV ever gross you out, user? It's sad to see so many beautiful women end up doing gross stuff that I really don't find sexy.

But there is lots of Sexy Javs, its not only about pissparty and bukkake my friend.

Like for me, one of my favorite JAVs are the Oily Dancers. Hot Japanese Chicks covered in oil are dancing as sexy as humanly possible while wearing tight microbikinis. there is nothing disgusting about it.
just watch that stuff for a minute and I guarantee you get a boner.

or what about the "Sexy Investigator is getting raped" genre, thats also hot when they get tied up and molested by a thirsty japanese business man.

Attached: coolpepe.jpg (489x499, 27K)

interesting thread I thougth niche sites were fucking dead these days.
how many articles do you have to post before you start getting some traffic? and 2 cents per word?? wtf how do you get quality content for that. Im a freelance writer myself and I charge 10x that much.

Good plan, setting up a blog for the most saturated market on the internet. I'm sure everyone cares what some crusty virgin thinks and will follow your advice and recommendations.
If you don't have a plan and have to take all your advice from strangers you will not get farther than wasting money on hosting.

Porn Market is not saturated, Porn market will continue to grow as long as men can get boners its also not everything about my idea.

Attached: lol retard.jpg (225x225, 12K)

It is also more difficult to get hosting and advertising (see:gookmoot) for adult content.
And yes, it is entirely saturated.

quit discouraging him

Just trying to save an user some time, money and disappointment

Sure you are, that's why you were a dick about it.
Let him find out on his own and learn some skills along the way.

Where can i contact you?

I’m testing this now. Seems like Quora fucks this up since they have so many answers

great thread OP,
also what do you think about dropshipping on ebay? From what I've seen all chinese sellers from sites like aliexpress have their shops on ebay too. They sell for the same low price so how can I charge extra money on top of that and still earn some cash?

Holy shit, why havent I thought of this. Thank you!
This

Make your ad not look like cheap knockoff trash.

So blogs? What's your monetisation strategy? How do you market? Sell any products? Good materials on learning to set this up? What type of sites, like WordPress or something?

Fuck - genius....

Can you list some ad brokers besides Google?

Attached: 159XPYn.jpg (446x446, 23K)

How do you find companies who want their ads placed somewhere?
How do you set up the ads on your site? In terms of getting them to even display and generate money for you when clicked

How many sites do you have set up in total? How many of these are generating revenue? What is their average revenue? Do they generate a predicted amount or do you have some that are totally failures while others are insane moneymakers that are carrying the rest of the pack so-to-speak?

These are good questions. I mean how much time did the OP invest in writing all this to make this amount of money?

i just jerked off to that picture. wtf is wrong with me

I do the same thing OP does, but I'm also a paid advertising expert, so in addition to organic, I send paid traffic to highly optimized pages within my sites. I negotiate direct deals with product and service providers to maximize my payouts. Generating between 400k and 500k/mo in revenue, which lands profit between 200k and 300k most months.

It's out there guys, you literally just have to go get it. I've been doing this for over 10 years.

200k USD?

you negotiate with advertisers directly?

do you use Amazon servers? or...?

>highly optimized
can you elaborate on this?

What does it take to work for you?Can I work for you? Unironically asking. There must be something you have to do but you hate doing.
I'm asking this because I've been trying to get my foot in the door in affiliate marketing and I'm willing to suck dick for a while (metaphorically speaking) if that means learning some useful stuff.

Would you mentor me, senpai? I'm a Wizard NEET in need, I'm a genuinely giving person so giving me that help, I would try to pay you back what I could in tips or whatever (I don't have the money to pay anything up front), and then I'd go on to help other NEET's and people in need in turn, so you'd be taking a chance...but taking a chance on meaningful charity. If I could earn even 5% of that, it would be enough for me.

larp

What ad providers do you use. Have a blog that has had about 200k visits over the past 12 months but it makes fuck all from AdSense. I put this down to it being gaming related and gamers having adblock.

Have another site that runs around 200 visits a day and out performs it dollar wise.

...

Do you promote your blog with other social media channels (ie. instagram, twitter, facebook, snapchat)

would you tell me the name of your website so I can look it up?
