I work as a manager at a spa. Male therapist get less work than female (a lot of people refuse to have a male) but they can retain serious customers easily (that's better imo)
It's really good side money but you need to be knowledgeable and put in the work. Pick a good massage school, not just the first one you hear about.

Do it. Schooling for license is a little expensive (10k) but it's a fucking awesome job. Private clients are ideal but you can also work for a spa or something and poach clients as you get more comfortable. The #metoo shit is overblown, people come to you and volunteer for your touch. You can record the session if you're paranoid, but it's not a problem. You can make a lot of money doing it. I used to date a massage therapist and did some massage work of my own because she taught me. Really good money to sperg out on people's bodies.
