>>Money doesn't make you happy
Actually true, past $70,000 a year there is no difference in perceived happiness.
Money only prevents you from the misery of having no food/shelter/recreation; once you have your basic needs covered it just becomes a game.
These people think someone making 100k, spending 40k and saving 20k is going to be better off than someone making 300k, spending 70k, saving 80k, simply because person A is spending less on rent.
They genuinely can't understand why the second person will be better off in 15 years. They don't understand compound interest or location arbitrage
>past 70k it doesnt matter
>but you need that 70k
Cope
You also basically admitted I was right.
OP was triggered ITT because he spend 25% on his housing
>OH WAGIE
People who make $70,000 are considered working poor by rich people.
There is no difference in happiness levels between the two.
Not even me, cope harder and see
I'd be much happier making $70,000 a year off passive income than doing it by wageslaving. Stay poor.
So you admit money is required to be happy then? Glad we agree.
Money can make you happier as it secures your material necessities and some wants, but it has diminishing returns.
poorfag cope. Sad to see but not surprised
I agree, I don't think I ever mentioned wageslaving.
