AINT NO MY WHYIPOPO STOA LMAO U AIN'T GETT NO MAIL IN CATOLUGS ANYMORE THO BRUH
*DABS*
I interviewed there for a job a couple months ago
I have blue collar and white collar experience, manager absolutely grilled me in the interview, even worse than an 80k year job. Then at the end he offers me $8.25 an hour. I told him he had awfully high expectations for $8.25 an hour and left.
>brick and mortar
rip
>everyone's jobs
RIP
this is the future of all employment. unless you are either a billionaire, or someone who can provide immediate service to people in your area, such as a doctor or mechanic - you're screwed in the next coming decades.
I worked there back when I was 17 and lmao I was a absolute shark when it came to making idiots sign up for credit cards for that sweet comish
How can retail be saved?
By offering unique products and experiences, rather than commoditized goods.
>start them off with the highest credit limit card
>oh, nope this one wasn't approved
>move on to the 2nd highest one
>ah, looks like this one wasn't approved either
>here, i have a third one lets try this one
>shoot, looks like none got approved, can't say i didnt try for you
>get commish off all three
thanks barclay's, that job fuckin sucked
It can't... To be honest I rarely go to the mall if ever... Most shopping revolves around Target/Costco with unique items being purchased online or sought out by going to the specific store (for example Nike). I buy most of my clothes online during sales...
kill the Amazon
I don't throw around "literally" a lot, but literally the only store I shop in is Costco. Everything else is online.
Yup and even Costco has free online shipping for members...
You literally blew my mind
F
Hey I've been in that mall I think
based
Lehigh valley mall?
Thanks I'll buy the dip in a few minutes
That's a winner right there fren...
>most valuable business in America trading for 19M
Seems like a bargain
Does this mean I don't have to keep up with my payments for my dryer?
if you have white collar experience, why are you applying for $8.25/hr jobs
convert it into a hive housing complex for 1 million people
I had to find a new job because I quit my last one. I also only want part time. I know Walmart and Target pay $12/hr so I was hoping for at least $10. The fact that he offered me the absolute minimum was really just an insult.
I thought while he was grilling me in the interview perhaps he was looking at my experience and sizing me up for another position in the office they had back there. Nope, he was just a fucking douche.
This honestly makes me so depressed. It used to be such a big retailer, and now it's about to die. Shit like this is why I've become more open to socialism. Capitalism is a destructive economic system that only hurts the working class.
Yes user, let's still be ordering shit through mail order catalogues with inefficient distribution networks.
Sears died because Wal-Mart and Amazon offered better customer experiences and had better distribution and purchasing.
socialism can only work in a high IQ ethnically homogenous population such as Japan or Sweden
it will never work in a 3rd world shit hole like America
>ethnically homogenous
>japan and sweden
not for long
You sound like a retarded capitalist. Here are some videos for you to watch.
I worked at Sears from 2008 to 2012. How Lampert ran that Company should be criminal. Its clear to me He ran it into the ground on purpose so his hedge fund could scoop the real estate up. The leadership never tried anything new, they just kept doubling down on failed business models like Sears card and protection agreements that cost 1/3 the price of the product. Fuck that shit.
thank you for some youtube links i won't watch rather than going through the effort of formulating an argument
Yep because their population is dwindling
Based.
We need a return to artisan-styled crafts and goods. I would pay a premium for that kind of stuff over buying mass manufactured chink shit
yeah they wont be taking any arabs or africans though so it shouldnt be much of a problem
I hate this meme, they are full, they are supposed to dwindle. That is how their descendants have actual yards
I chose to take my honeymoon in Japan because I'm confident that I'm a few decades Japan will repeat the same process of cultural disintegration that is being seen in Germany, France, and Sweden. Wanted to make sure I got to see it before it was destroyed. I knew that if I didn't go there on my honeymoon that the odds would be slim that I'd ever get there any time soon.
All unskilled jobs that could be automated in 10 years. The whole "labor shortage" argument has never persuaded me.
Deptford I took it two weeks ago since I figured it was going under shortly.
>go to Sears in hopes that everything is in discount
>stuff is still being sold at slightly higher price than what they're actually worth
They deserve it
so the fuck what? that's a good thing. only a kike wants infinite population growth to sustain his ponzi scheme.
Exactly this. Brick and mortar isn't going anywhere, Sears is going away because they no longer offer value to anyone... Have you shopped at a Sears lately? They barely offer anything useful at high prices. Sears can fuck off and die for offering $45 Levi jeans and shitty Gladiator rolling toolcarts for $200, taking my money anywhere else. They need to take a marketing 101 class.
Yeah wow I can't wait to go pay $50 for a dinner plate on etsy.
What we need is for orange nigger in chief to bring all manufacturing jobs back to America so that we can buy American-manufactured stuff instead of Chink-manufactured stuff.
you can thank Bill Gates for sending it all abroad
China was literally Africa tier before his presidency
they need more rideable fantasy animals
>Bill Gates
I mean Bill Clinton lol
The wage cage is going to replace retail
I worked on the dock and merchandise pickup. Was a fun job.
>Stick with the catalog model
>get ass kicked by Walmart
>squander market share
>never make meaningful adjustments
>get ass kicked again by Amazon
>therefore, capitalism bad, socialism good
If you want to criticize capitalism, there are more hills to fight on than the "Why did Sears go out of business?" hill. They refused to adapt and times went on and changes without them.
Protecting Sears, instead of letting them die, and stifling innovation, instead of letting new companies like Amazon thrive, is the exact kind of stupid socialist shit that exacerbates economic decline and intellectual stagnation, and why anyone with a rational brain can see from ten miles away that socialism is not the answer to anything.
Because SEA monkey muslims are infinitely better?
Is now a good time to invest?
Sears was taken over by a hedge fund manager, who knew shit about management and put the company on the chapter 11 chopping block.
In Amazon maybe
I used to work there as a cashier, it was like babysitting senile old people because of how boring it was. every morning at 8am, about a dozen Indians had lined up to return 100+ items of clothing each, all of which came from an unknown source which leads me to believe they didn't actually pay for it and they're just making profit.
Sears died because it was inefficient compared to newer competitors like Amazon and Walmart and didn't adapt to change. I'm not paying even more fucking taxes on what remains of my Bitcoin gains to subsidize retards.
F
Jesus fuck I wish I never knew that guy existed.
>Morbidly obese
>snivelling voice
>supports censoring and brutalizing other people
>fucking idiotic enough to think that net worth means personal money
The kmart ceo bought us and flipped all sears property and moved us into shitty malls, then attempted to sell off major store brands like craftsman. He did the same thing to autozone when he owned it back in the mid-2000s
