Breeding a combination of the parents' traits yes, but there's also something called "mutability" which is a measurement of how much a card randomly mutates during breeding. Different cards will have different mutability indexes.
So when you breed your two Simple Jacks together, they will create something new, with new stats & potentially even a new name (Nothing too fancy early on though though, maybe something along the lines of "Jack Simple" or "Simple Simple Jack" for the breeding-generated name).

So when you harvest the flower (for Berries, SEED, and NUG) there is a % chance of dropping another Flower as well. This Flower is randomly generated, and some may be wildly good while others are wildly bad. Think of them kinda like wildcards you sometimes get when harvesting your fully grown plant. Let me know if you have any more questions. Your input is extra valuable as we're building all of this right now

Do you have a better board suggestion? Overall though, we've had a bunch of newcomers from biz that have very good feedback and are enthusiastic about the game. As indie game devs that have been working on this game silently for 6 months, we are thrilled to see people engaging with what we've built so far, and biz has shown the most support we've seen in months.
