So much for ChainLink as the "first mover advantage". These guys also have an actual team working.

it's inevitable that an actual team will come along and develop this product before the 1.5 developers at Chainlink are able to finish it in a reasonable amount of time
Chainlink was still first you complete fuckwit
>no mainnet
>still first
You know, they have a race against time. But you, as a retarded bagholder, are still deluded into the memes. How's the 1000 eoy going?
yeah so where's mainnet?
this again?
when are you brainlets gonna realize that not only does chainlink have first mover advantage with partnerships but the acquisition of Town Crier makes it so Chainlink has cornered the market.
Privacy, scalability for ETH and security. LINK + Town Crier makes everything obsolete.
>partnerships
>with other scam coins
Oh shit I forgot about kaleido until just now. Thanks user
Fucking lol. The amount of pure vaporware in this image is astonishing.
Relentless FUD threads today. I am entertained, but not fucking selling...
being first actually implies having a working product, not just a word troll patent
i hate these kinds of threads because its so obvious its a fud post so all the newfags learn more about link because people dump facts on OP
>a network 5 years in the making
Vs
>pajeet creation on fiver
Yeah...OP-incel, we pick Chainlink
Had a look at verity. They're using crowd wisdom as consensus which is a far cry away from what CL is doing. Also, their team is bloated and doesn't have enough autism
Yeah because its pajeet reverse shilling. Pajeets attack with weak fud then drop anything that sounds kinda cool so that brainlestz buy in. But really Chainlink is just a meme and no one actually owns any.
and then you have all the developers that already have products on ethereum that require oracles, but that they would never involve a third party network with its own funding token into their system.
so there will be even more "competitors" in the form of ethereum-only native solutions without a token and likely without a secondary network, simply a contract that can be run on a second layer.
chainlink bagholders really screwed up when they decided to buy something that can only work with a parent network (ethereum) and ethereum is where the fruits of oracles are going to go, not the token used for one possible oracle networks implementation.
using the crowd is similar to augur, and in theory gives you an actual oracle, instead of chainlink's which are limited to providing you only centralized sources of information.
unfortunately the centralized sources are already the sources of trust, so you can opt-out of chainlink or any other middleman layer if those sources ever wish to attest their own data.
> okay guys, we all in discord?
> I got a hot new lead which we can hopefully use to make back our losses from swingtrading
> it's just a random shitcoin project jumping on the buzzword bandwagon but if we just pretend it's the next big thing people will buy it
> attempt #203 will surely work this time
Aaaaaaaaaaand then Verity just turned out to be a p2p network for people to manually input sports results for consensus.
That's it people - show's over. This is the kind of thing that big business is looking for.
Mainnet in the next 100 days. Cap this.
Nigga out here sippin henny talking oracles and shiiit with some white boi's wife.

Not every use case needs a decentralized oracle so you are right. But the top 1% of the jobs will need the best form of security and the best way to provide it would be to aggregate results from different centralized sources. To prevent data from being tampered with AFTER it was sent by the original sources, you need node operators to further aggregate the data and provide collateral so that when something fucks up someone CAN be held accountable in every step of the way.
Not selling.
This image sums up chainlink desu. These are the people who will be using it lmaoooooooooooo
Muh oracle> oracle> oracle problem
Chainlink missed the bullrun. It’s over sell now and get back in btc brainlets
you can't honestly believe big businesses are looking to use an untrusted third party like chainlink though either, can you?
big business is in the business of trust and accountability, they get neither with chainlink, and both with a signed-api protocol
Epic
Thanks just sold 100k LINK

thanks just bought 100k
