Bitcoin is and always has been #1. Half of all money is in Bitcoin. No, it doesn't do anything super special. But it was the first successful cryptocurrency, and continues to be the top volume coin. The fact that it doesn't do anything special, like with Ethereum, actually makes it more valuable because its more simple to use just as money. Lightning Network, if successfully implemented in the background for everyday transactions, has the ability to keep Bitcoin from falling behind any altcoin competition.

I would keep an eye on Monero, especially in the extreme edge case where Bitcoin is compromised by deep state. CIA openly admitted they can't do shit to track XMR... could possibly be bait but if it was possible to track I think we would all know by now.
