Can confirm. My dad got out due to stellar grades and foreign education. Has a very good job and income. Probably sent back over 2m usd over the years but it's a never ending stream of "gibs pls" from relatives like fucking third cousins they have no shame. He tried to start a small renting business and have some family run it and get some of the income so they could pull themselves up but those people got "gibsmedat" memed by other extended family members into letting them just live in the residences for free.
