LEARN TRADES ZOOMERS

degrees are worthless unless they're postgrad

Enjoy two decades max of employment before your knees and back give out, then have fun paying medical bills that will strike vengefully back at that ludicrous salary expectation.

>30k starting
Fixed

Dive welding a nuclear reactor intake reservoir might get you 300k a year. But starting topside welding is around 30k.

My dads been a welder since I was a kid. He's a crew leader now and sits on his ass all day while stealing scrap metal. Still not even close to that amount per year

I used to know a dude who was a deepsea diver for some oil platform. The dude retired at 45 and build himself a mansion in Turkey.

Welder btw.

It's more like 12 dollars an hour.

If you're lucky.

Sounds scary dangerous and hard. Good luck to you if you go for it. I’m a freight train conductor for the BNSF and I’ll enjoy my 120,000 a year to sit on my ass for 12 hours a day on a train.

>he doesn't underwater oil rig weld
it's like you hate money

this meme legitimately got me to look into welding back in the day. that was a waste of time. those motherfuckers start at $14 an hour in my hometown lol. only the most specialized and experienced welders make 6 figures

My last two paychecks where $2300 and $2100

I thought I was doing pretty good. But I guess you're all millionaires.

>degrees are worthless unless they're postgrad
WRONG.*most* Degrees are *mostly* a rite of passage. A lot of people won't even consider you if didn't go to college.

But you can in fact get jobs related to your field if you do a bachelor's in engineering.

PhD in groundskeeping here.
I don't know why high school graduates try to apply for these jobs; you need to at least have a masters degree in "fields" AND in the field of "groundskeeping" (if you have to ask what the difference is, you're not gonna make it)
Have fun recovering from decompression sickness OP while I'm outside enjoying the nice day and chatting with jogger MILFs before banging them in the restrooms. Yeah whenever those bathrooms are under "maintenance" what's really going on is that your mom is getting dicked hard in the restroom. And in the end I always finish the whole thing up by urinating on them. MILF housewives are so desperate and emotionally stunted. I think I might have even fathered a few children that way. One bitch even told me she wanted to get back at her husband for cheating on her by having me knock her up so he'd have to raise another kid that wasn't even his.

>he thinks you can weld under water

Literally 88iq tier, also check them

t. gypsy thief

200k a year

I majored in Accounting and a Master's would actually be useless for me

Always gets a smile from me.

imagine learning to weld, and actually being good at it and settling for a 300k a year, pathetic

I worked as a welding apprentice for a couple years in Canada. Decent pay but it's bad on your eyes, lungs, and back. I'm 22 and walk with a limp now after only 2 years. The real money is getting good at welding and getting an industrial millwright license.

>not maxing out an HSA every year while you are healthy

wut
why

Ahhh you can indeed weld underwater dingus.

Look fellas. When you understand what education is really about when people say money, it's not about it being in your pocket.
College, university, trade programs and all the like get government funding. For every student that completes a program that means more money from the gov.
Why does the gov pay schools for grads? Well because now this grad will enter the workforce and begin paying taxes.
Anybody that's good at what they do, usually dosent have an education. And if they do, it has NOTHING to do with their careers.
Enjoy playing the meme.

Envy much?

Welcome to the new reality scumbag

Degrees and credentials are worthless at this point

Hope you can learn how to flip a burger before your shitty jobs gets automated as well

>stealing scraps and sittin on his ass
Fucking blue collar Chad.

Jesus what an embarrassing post

Blatantly wrong. Just cause you couldn't graduate doesn't mean you should drag everyone down with you.

My community college welding classes were all filled with niggers/beaners and me, the only white kid at the time.

It’s literally shit tier work. The listings were all for dumpster welders or some 12/hr bullshit.

I know a guy who does front and back end programming in San Jose. Gets around 70K. Started at 60K. Severely underpaid but doesn't have any kind of degree.

My dad is very jewish, yet quite based.
>finished high school at 16
>dropped out of engineering college
>lived with his parents while NEETing until around 23 years old
>moved to Vegas during construction boom
>moved back and then became a welder through a construction company
>always being a jew and never bought us anything for birthdays or Christmas
>always telling us to learn the value of a dollar
Fast forward
>makes around 75k a year
>mainly eats food from the food bank with the odd $1 spicy chicken tossed in
>shed filled with stolen tools from company
>slowly accumulated over 20+ years of service
>signs over most of his holdings to his family members when he senses divorce imminent
>his only hobbies include adding additions to his house, tinkering with shit, and learning new skills
>always has some sort of project going on
>always uses materials he stole from his work
>sells stolen copper in mexico
>flips cars from the scrapyard
>extremely boomer in every aspect
>recently found out what exactly his 401k was and now just reads about stocks and markets for 10 hours a day
He's coming up on retirement age pretty soon, maybe his portfolio got fugged
>constantly cheating on taxes
>always has some new scam going on
>most of his furniture was bought with stolen credit cards

>not going to college and a trade school at the same time
pathetic

A mansion in Turkey is like 60k

that's like 30k in commiefaggotfornia

Still too expensive...You know that country is filled with Turkish 'people' right?

I have worked as welder and you DON'T want to do this.
1. Constant noise even with mufflers
2. Back pain, feet pain
3. You constantly have to deal with Chinese steel that is unweldable and it's on you to make it work even if it's not possible for it to work, often you'll have to pay for "damages" which are caused by scummy steel quality.

Not recommended.

damn, is it an entry level job?

>Chinese steel
>actually painted plywood
>not even painted on both sides

Being a nigger isnt based user.

>6 month certification program
>make almost 50k a year
Unironically a good job to start right out of high school. I wish I didn’t fall for the college meme

>this is what years of being NEET gets you
