>is doing things for fun instead of investing smart?
No, but living like a monk is depressing too. At least it's something practical instead of something like 300 dollars worth of junk food. You might want to get more ammo as an investment, things are going south slowly.

hoarding lumps of metal on 2019, pajeet tier shit

I have a large cache of weapons and ammo. the perks of working at a gun store..
this is the 4th gun i own in 9mm, so you better believe im well stocked. Mac-10 only came with one mag so i need at least 1 more and then a "safety extention" for honest to god safety reasons, i dont even want to look like an idiot with a mock suppressor, but the bolt is way to close to the end of the barrel. i might buy a huge muzzle break

i did buy a 2018 frosty the snowman silver round, ill get my stack back up. i feel like owning excessive amounts of silver is stupid as fuck unless you live in a castle or secluded fortress. You can only take so much with you.. ive seen you idiots post pictures of almost 100 kilo of silver bars, what the plan on moving all that or taking it with you? i guess you could try to hide it somewhere but again were talking SHTF.
I always try to keep about 2 lbs (american, fuckers) of silver and then i have about 2 ounces of gold in bullion (1/10 and 1/4 pieces) as well as my gold jewelry between me and my wife.

If you have 100 kilo of silver and guns you're nobility when shit hits the fans, why would you run? Back to Jow Forums.

IMO gold is good for really long term, but silver is probably on par with bullets depending on the situation at hand. i think if you buy silver as a preparation then it would be wise to also have at least one reliable hung run as well as a good supply of 9mm 38spcl 45acp 308 and 5.56. those are going to be the most common and useful calibers.
your going to need to protect that stack of silver. i own a bunch of el cheapo guns because i feel like i could trade some of you fags one hipoint c-9 and a box of 50 rounds for literally everything you have. your gold your silver, etc. protecting your life will come way above staying "rich"

densely populated areas would have pillaging starving hoards within a week of a food supply line being lost.
still you are gonna want to trade that silver for some supplies for survival. and if both parties arnt armed someone probably getting robbed

Why do you guys always assume we're hoarding silver as some sort doomsday survival tactic? Why cant we just be normal people who are buying it to maybe sell in a few years for 20-30% gains if commodities go up? Not everyone is stockpiling silver as a longhaul 50 year retirement plan
