Right now Chainlink is around $0.28 and by CET we're 2 hours into the new year of 2019. I predict that we will see major success for Chainlink after the launch of the network in 2019 and right around this time, you could say 2019 EOY, I predict the price to be $10 on Dec 31 2019.

Q1 release of mainnet, adoption and use rival oraclize within the first few months, however around august/september a major international corporation announces use in a dapp offering. This triggers a speculative run with ATH approaching 53$. Eoy settles at 29$ per link.

id bet by the time scaling comes around for ethereum, obsolete alts like link built in the time before scaling won't get much attention anyway. the whole space is going to shift massively when second layers or meta-contracts begin to dominate btc/eth, holding onto alts that use or are reliant on either of those platforms is a losing battle.

unused platforms will die, coins/tokens with their own blockchain will see a short mining revival as ethereum pushes gpu miners away, but not for long, and they will suffer the same fate. effectively we're moving into genuinely uncharted territory with these second layers, the whole crypto space is going to see a huge upheaval as alts built on the old-style every chain has its own blockchain methodology quickly find themselves replaced by all the developer enthusiasm around a new extensible bitcoin or ethereum.
