Why do millennials and gen z feel so entitled about jobs?

50% of job requirement is all you really need. The other 50% is just reiterating that you're capable of learning the rest if given the opportubity over and over again.

I'm curious about the company that made the stats and eventually the newspaper that published that: where they fit in the chard?

Things used to be better. But the old in the west always had it good, while those in the East were able to spot the difference. The rich will never understand the peasant.

They're looking for someone with 3 years of experience willing to work for entry level salary.

They require 3+ years of experience the same way I require 300k salary and 200 vacation days a year. It's a big first ask but they'll settle for less.

> be me
> want o work as programmer, but have no experience
> see this one local company
> decent portfolio, accomplished people, foreign clients, great pay
> they only hire senior level programmers
> no other offers on the website
> 4 years of experience minimum
> dozen bullet points of requirements
> try to learn required stuff myself in my spare time
> after a year not even 30% done with requirements
> keep watch on the page, still no junior, not even a mid-level opening
> start loosing motivation
> randomly come across some interview on some random event
> oh it's the CTO and CEO of that company!
> "so how are the juniors?"
> "Oh, yeah, we have a bit over a dozen right now, can't hire more because no more free seniors and we prefer 1:1 teaching,,,"
> then goes into a detail explaining how they test juniors with some take home assignment, and even if you take 2 weeks to complete it you still probably will get chance for interview without any experience or higher education

if I only applied back then I could have a job already

why? why nobody told me about it?

they want people who don't take no for an answer dummy

am I reading those charts correctly?

there are entry level jobs requiring 10years of experience? and some senior positions that require none?

even someone with

If you wonder why look up the tax rates + mandatory contributions that regulations have introduced over the past 40 years.

not only that, but the median income has remained at ~2000 levels, so you need more schooling and experience just to make the same wage as 20 years ago

you read the charts correctly.

Because boomers had the ability to get any job they wanted & then act superior about being handed the world on a plate while refusing to share it.
Retarded. If you want me to do something, ask for it. Play mind games and you can fuck right off. This is why I fake references & lie about all my experience to get jobs, then find ways to scam them while on the job. These kikes aren't honest with you, don't be honest with them.

Fucking lie dude.
You gotta be convincing.
Have a burner phone # with your fake job on applications.
9.99/10 jobs are too lazy to call previous jobs for entry-level positions. But just in case act convincing. All they ask is if you worked from X year to Y year.

Problem solved.
Don't be a faggot and get an internship and be a real slave working for free0

>you go to college for 4 years
>you spend 3 of your summers having an internship

if you choose to party or to travel you don't deserve a job.

you don't understand what constitutes "experience" -- volunteer work, internships, freelance work, and personal study all count
i saw a guy apply and cite his years of competing in programming contests as his experience. they gave him an interview and he destroyed it. hired.

this is the saddest chart of all

So that nepotism can flourish like it always has

This. Stupid NEETs don’t realize job interviews are negotiations for BOTH sides

>have to work for free for years to then be bestowed with the privilege of working an entry level data entry job

Employer detected.

>Because boomers had the ability to get any job they wanted & then act superior about being handed the world on a plate while refusing to share it.

The world owes you nothing, you entitled little bitch.

>work for a private company that does government contracts
>every single past statement in your interview and resume gets verified through 3rd party
>all the lying cucks at my university fail to make the first round of interviews
>'perfect' students with curated resumes and 4.0 instantly turned down
>tfw got a six figure job with almost no experience by being honest

>MUH NEPOTISM

Only 4.1% people are unemployed.

>taking unpaid internships

lol, wtf is your degree in? Sanscrit?

>This is why I fake references

For serious jobs, they will call. It would be odd that you don't have any references. It only shows that nobody likes you.

>looking at unemployment rate, rather than labour force participation rate
another trumptard

Attached: 1534114002436.jpg (557x696, 223K)

>What is labor participation rate
>What is overqualified for a job

Because the job market is oversaturated for white collar professions that don't require a specific license or certification. Like others said, it is to thin the heard of applicants to more motivated people.

>Retarded. If you want me to do something, ask for it. Play mind games and you can fuck right off.
This is why you have such a hard time. Because you need everything handed to you.

Grow some balls, idiot

>implying they won't call

That's why you get your friends to be the fake references and do the same for them.

You should blame the licensing and certification process for churning out workers that are no better than those without.

People with PhD in Physics/Electronics shouldn't be applying for code monkey jobs. Employers expect your level of education to match your job's requirements. They wouldn't want to train a person for several months only for him/her to leave a year later.

At least you're finally shit talking Obama's lies

>People with PhD in Physics/Electronics shouldn't be applying for code monkey jobs.
What other options do they have? Adjunct cucking? I was referring more specifically to people working unskilled labor with degrees.

The first three years of your career are, comparatively, entry level.

That said! It does feel like total bullshit, and I sympathize. My suggestion is that you need at least most of the skills that are genuinely difficult to pick up (a position I saw recently wanted FPGA programming experience), 50% of the technically complex but easy to pick up skills (web services, etc.), and maybe 1/3-1/4 of the other filler bullshit (languages, frameworks, etc. in software).

This guy gets it

Fucking kikes

This is why we're in crypto

There will come a time when the normies realize they're getting (((screwed))) because they'll still be making $50k a year and a coffee will cost more than $13 usd. And even if they can't work out that they're spending 10% of their salary on coffee they'll feel it in their wallet.

And then we'll be rich.

Instead of spending $1000 a year on coffee just buy caffeine pills for $10 once a year.

>. Employers expect your level of education to match your job's requirements

I employ people for a small to medium place (15 - 35 employees over the past decade) and would say this is a huge problem for me. Advertise entry level jobs - get inundated with applications from over qualified immigrants. PhD and masters (if these are worth anything in these cases) applying for data entry, customer service or book keeping. It's insane and wastes my time hugely.

because why hire mediocre when you can hire better?

yeah, nothing is a bigger red flag that somebody being overqualifie

Because they will leave if they are truly overqualified. If they are not they can lie to a reasonable level not PhD level

There are no jobs for even people with phDs now. They have nothing to leave to.

asking for a couple of years of experience in an entry level position isn't over-qualification though, thats the point, its standard across the board, so they're not going anywhere any faster.

Coffe isnt about coffein. Its about looking cool for your coworkers.

There is no "crypto sector" retard. Do you realise how small this industry is? You have better chances becoming a famous actor in hollywood.

? I employ people that need no university education - outside of the accounting team maybe. This is literally just above burger flipping or floor sales .

Tell me about it OP, applying for a new job rn. So many of these listings are absolute bullshit.

There is. How many PhDs are willing to do manual labor? Not that many I bet.

If they're starving they'd love to.

How do you expect somebody to get work experience when nobody else will hire them because they don't already have work experience? Fucking boomers need to die already jesus christ.

>t. Butthurt kikes angry the goyim are using their own tricks against them.

If the world owes me nothing, then I owe it nothing. I'll take everything I can, regardless of what you have to say on the matter. So yeah, hand me all your money and your daughters pussy faggots! You don't give a fuck about doing right by me, why should I give a fuck about doing right by you? The only real rule in life is "don't get caught".

This user gets it, fuck kikes and fuck boomers, take what you can get for yourself. Do whatever the fuck you have to do to make it and don't let anybody shame you for it.
