and calling it a liquidity tool is a joke when there are no liquid pairs around ripple other than for things that the ripple network doesn't support, like dollars or bitcoin. their trust lines are exactly that, IOUs, which drastically reduces the actual liquidity available because IOUs for the same asset but offered by different entities are not fungible.

ripple is definitely very far down in the list of tokens anybody actually wants to own, most retail late adopters want profit, and the rest just wish they got in early on bitcoin.

they can build whatever they want, that doesnt change the flawed economics of xrp though, nor the obvious legality issues with it's launch and sale.

it's tough to have arguments with people on biz because you're so misinformed its genuinely sad. any quick google search of "companies using XRapid" you'll see lists of profit driven companies with repuations to keep in line actively supporting the cost savings, liquidity increase, and drastically increases speed of sending payments cross border in high friction. so with that fact what you just said pretty much makes no fucking sense as there are reviews of XRapid are real. if you want to choose to ignore it for the sake of "LOL the rest won't end up using it!1.11!!1" you can go ahead and be ignorant my man because what do you think the competitors of said companies who are beginning to use Xrapid are going to do when the companies using Xrapid offer better service and steal their market share? Since there is literally no other project who offers what XRapid can do, what are those not using XRapid going to do? go out of business? or more logically, adopt it? it baffles me how on biz its rare to see arguments against XRP that are actually coherent and educated, because what you're saying is flat out incorrect. Oh and BTW is isn't a security. If ripple went out of business tomorrow XRP would still exist as there are other independent projects using it. That fact alone makes it not a security. Guess which companies are lobbying congress for updates on the SEC's definition of a security to allow for regulatory clarity in the cryptosphere?
