General discussion of the upcoming cryptocurrency game flowerpatch: the game, the card tokens, and NUG tokens.

The difference between an ETH based game asset and regular game asset is the total lack of control the game devs have over the assets you acquire while playing. Other online games, if the game devs don't particularly like you they can ban your account wiping out all of your characters/skins and items you spent your time/money acquiring. Blockchain based gaming, even if the devs can ban your account from the game client you still keep all that you've acquired because it's tied to your crypto wallet not the account. You can also buy/sell/trade/auction them where and as you please, like an actual realworld asset.
