The real problem with the Chinese economy is that it is an export economy, it's homemarket is so underdeveloped that the majority of everything produced in China can't be sold of on the home-market.
Both the EU and the US have strong home-markets, almost all goods and services produced in these regions can be sold off domesticly.
To exemplify it, European car manufactors yearly produce a number of cars that roughly equals the domestic demand for cars, the same applies for the US.
Now "they" trade cars with each other, so Americans can buy Lamborghinis and Europeans can buy Teslas, but overall it more or less equal itself out.
China is the opposite, they produce goods which they simply can't sell off on the domestic market.
