In this thread you ask me questions about the platform and watch PoW/PoS shills get BTFO as they whine impotently about soon to be released features.

Maybe if I get some for free I might consider it otherwise it's a scam.

>feeless
Aka meme. Nothing good in life is free

Where did the millions of SKY which keep getting dumped on Binance come from?

If
Obelisk is proof of trust. who writes the parameters of trust/are they hardcoded. or is the trust manual

>entire chain is literally being run and controlled on synth's laptop at home

>fork of a fork of a fork

Coinhours are such a good concept. You'll be astonished that nobody's thought of this first. Allows people to use and punishes spammers.

current ISPs do not allow for resale of internet data, so what kind of traffic will people be forwarding from their antennaes?

I could buy the disgruntled whale story before. There were only 11m SKY in circulation and it looked like the whale had 2-3m to dump. The binance hot wallet went from 3m to 100k SKY over the past two months and the price shot up to 370 or so when this ran out. That should have been the end of the dumping. But now the dumping is back with a vengeance and there's a new binance cold wallet with another 3m. Where did they come from?

Yeah it's definitely not the devs because they're so kind and trustworthy.

All kinds. They'll want to because it's cheaper to operate a bunch of dishes and servers installed on houses than a 40,000sqft datacenter with IT staff and phone support.

I don't even care if it is the devs as long as they admit it and tell me when they're done.

I actually met the CEO of Skycoin once. He pulled a phone like this out of his pocket and used it to give me 100,000 coins. All of Skycoin is on that little Nokia phone it also has the game Snake.

>dumping is back with a vengeance

Is it? We've mostly been paired to BTC since that wallet ran out.

Distribution works like it always has. Same way we got to 11 million.

>devs cannibalizing their own project and continuing to actually work on it

Hmm, but what if I told you that it exists and I've seen it?

It's quite clever.

the dumps are always timed exactly as moving averages and momentum turn bullish so something funky is going on, ie they're trying to get the lowest price possible for their sells. i could be convinced that it's just an insane market-making bot of some kind which ended up buying all the bags in the summer with the trading competition. but given how low they've driven the price it is very odd that the supply hasn't been bought yet by the Skyfleet. i've done my bit, i'm bullish, just trying to solve the mystery

People buy low and take profit at 15%, same thing happens to Bitcoin.Compare the charts, there's very little deviation from it or any other alts.

McAfee brought some good press but also brought in a lot of moonbois. Moonbois are useful for stabilizing the price, at least.

KYS shitcoin shiller

What if it's a conspiracy against Skycoin?
>fund all kinds of fud online
>bribe the chink marketing team to pull that crap over the summer
>suppress the price as much as they can

You meant to say that it syncs to one of many full nodes, which all sync to a development blockchain until Obelisk is released. You can download and run your own Skycoin node here: github.com/skycoin/skycoin

Skycoin the coin is released as of 2017 and works great. They've since released wallets across all major platforms, produced hardware, and many other developments can easily be found on the website and on Github.

Skywire will be released shortly. Full applications are working now and will work in a distributed manner as the mainnet is built.

They released the testnet for Skywire, now they're releasing the mainnet for Skywire. Raspberry Pis variants weren't really as powerful as they are now.

The genesis block was minted on march 17th 2015, so you should say the coin was released at that date.

You can't build a better device than the official miner's specs for $500.

Oh nice, even earlier than I thought.
