Never watched animes.
Where can I start?
No bully plis
Shill me the best animes
Other urls found in this thread:
Wrong board bucko
C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control
It's a Jow Forums approved anime
What are you interested in? Action, adventure, psychological, philosophical...? The best beginner anime is Cowboy Bebop in any case.
Don't start with a series. Try a movie. My favorite anime subgenre is scifi and cyberpunk so I recommend Akira and Ghost in the Shell.
Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, Ergo Proxy
This literally the only anime biz related
Spice and Wolf
Evangelion. How could I forget that.
quality is very Jow Forums too
Fate Zero
Ergo proxy if you're 200IQ
Bleach (can just watch the fights, they're banging)
Early naruto & naruto shippuuden (can just watch the fights, they're banging)
Samurai champloo if you like samurai settings, great soundtrack & style
One punch man for a comedy with great fights too
Attack on titan for intensity & animation quality
Hajime no ippo if you like combat sports, shit's insane
Full metal alchemist for originality, cool characters & dope fights
Enjoy
Yuru Yuri is the only anime worth watching
no Kaiji yet? faggots.
Kaiji and Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop possibly too.
/a/ jannies would never allow this thread
I only browse biz
full metal alchemist brotherhood is an easy gateway drug
>One Punch Man next to bleach and naruto
has to be a bait.
Soul Eater is really funny.
Spice and Wolf is official Jow Forums anime
>Attack on titan
god this show was kino
OP; unironically avatar last airbender.
or Baki is bretty good too

Will start with Akira and Ghost in the Shell. SciFi and cyberpunk appeals to me easiest.
Cowboy Bebop has been recommended twice so it's the next...then pick the others randomly.
Thanks frens
If you like sci-fi then try to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes as well. It's a long space opera show with 110 episodes.
Kaiji is the only biz approved anime
Good man. Watch whatever appeals to your tastes and then try to broaden them.
I wanted to recommend this but it's such a daunting epic series. It's not possible to watch it casually so even though it's a masterpiece, it's probably not the best place to start.
koi kaze
oreimo
boku wa imouto ni koi wo suru
angel sanctuary
aki sora
yosuga no sora
other good bbys first anime are
boku no pico
kodomo no jikan
prisma illya
iya na kao sare nagara opantsu misete moraitai
Dragon Ball Z
good anime without major degeneracy:
ghost in the shell the movie 1995
fist of the north star movie 1986
almost any studio ghibli movie
akira
ninja scroll movie
cowboy bebop the movie
dragon ball
dragon ball z and most movies
one punch man
naruto, and all 3 naruto movies
naruto shippuden (up to maybe season 8 or 9)
attack on titan (season 1) is literally a perfect anime
hajime no ippo
death note (except one foot fetish scene)
spice and wolf
yu yu hakusho (episodes 1-66)
full metal alchemist
full metal alchemist brotherhood
bobobo bo bo bobo
avatar the last airbender
the legend of korra season 1 (although the last season has best fight scenes)
soul eater
berserk 1997
grappler baki
wolfs rain
samurai champloo (except all of episode 6)
neon genesis evangelion
pucca
parasite
For me Death Note did it. It was the best thing I ever experienced and no anime ever beat it.
btw, a few years back I watched one piece on 2x speed up to 600+ episode.
No bully ples
Almost all garbage
BERSERK
ignore everyone else ITT
>good anime without major degeneracy
thx based user
just started to watch anime too and 90% had a lot degenerated scenes included - maybe its essential for shounen idk
based on objective arguments like
animation quality
statistically highest voted best fights in anime
lack of faggotry compared to modern anime
positive themes portrayed
you're wrong
Cowboy Bebob is so fucking overrated. Watch Planetes
the show is very over rated.
however the movie is literally a 9 or 10/10
It's almost all shonenshit that appeals to 12 year olds and half of it isn't even anime. I agree with a few but it's padded with a lot of trash.
But I just have different tastes I guess. Fights put me to sleep, especially long drawn out anime fights like DBZ
Rurouni Kenshin
Nah, the anime was lame.
how so? the anime was awesome along with its OST. only the last filler season sucked. I picked up the manga from that point on along with the OVAs
After the mummy guy ark staryed it went to shit. The ost was alright.
thats why you gotta pick up the manga from that point until the end, not to mention the OVA.
Gurren Lagann is obligatory viewing for posting on Jow Forums. Start there, easily one of my favorite anime.
Boku no Hero Academia is good for an entry-level viewer and a long time viewer. Has great fighting scenes. Do not watch moeshit or you might never try anime again.
Seven Deadly Sins is like Rick and Morty for Christians, but actually good. Slow-paced at the start but has hella cool fight scenes later on.
Kakegurui or No Game No Life if you find "intellectual" animes good. I enjoy them, but they border on the fence of actually being good.
I have to agree. 210+ IQ required to enjoy tho.
Oh yeah, I also forget Tokyo Ghoul. Fight scenes are the best. Worth watching Season 1, then S2 and 3 went down the shitter, however Season 4 is enjoyable again. This is one of the few cases in which I would recommend the manga.
Castle in the Sky
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
My Neighbor Totoro
Pokemon (the original series)
Evangelion?
Cowboy bebop and samurai champloo.
It will give you the least cringe-inducing introduction possible
YuYu Hakusho is nice after that
Maybe Inuyasha (you will start cringing a tad more)
Yea GitS is good
Also maybe try dragonball or dragonball z?
The more /a/ likes it the more you'll cringe. Well unless you like soap-opera tier over-reacting to everything.
Mushi-Shi. Trust me.
Dont forget to love Lain!
Initial D
Attack on Titan
Watch jojo, hellsing, and fists of the North Star.
Any cute magical girl show such as Cardaptor Sakura or Madoka Magica. That and "Kino no Tabi" (= philosophical), both the 2003 and the 2017 version. Death Note is fun, too. At least the first half of the show.
I'm a pleb with toonami-tier taste, but it holds a special place in my heart.
Cowboy Bebop, samurai champloo, Gundam wing, neon Genesis evangelion, death note, wolf rain, outlaw star
faggot
Yeah, it's not the best anime to start. I just mentioned because otherwise he probably wouldn't heard of it. I only heard about LoGH randomly on Jow Forums after a few years of watching anime and I wish I had found about it sooner. Also, there's always the movie to begin with and the show seems long because it's split into 4 seasons with 25 eps each. Maybe watch a season and take a break before moving onto the next
no you.
I can confirm that you're indeed a faggot
kino no tabi is good but the rest is shit, and 75% faggot might as well be 100%.
kino no tabi is shit too
your mama is shit, bitch nigga
Definitely not starter anime. You'll either get bored and think all anime is shit or you will pretend to like it to sound as pretentious as the rest of Jow Forums.
This
Start with Cowboy Bebop, it's a classic and debatable the best starter anime.
Kore wa zombie desu ka
Upotte
Boku no pico
If you fags are gonna mention Kaiji, then don't fucking forget Akagi
Legendary Gambler Tetsuya is also pretty Jow Forums
Should appeal nicely to the absolute scum that dwells this place ( that includes me :3 )
>CCS
>shit
You're just a casual normalfaggot STFU retard
One Satoshi Man
You should also consider looking into Visual Novels (not necessarily Hentai) after watching the most generically popular anime (Death Note, Attack on Titan, Kaiji, Madoka Magica, etc). Some (Steins;Gate, Fault Milestone, Doki Doki Literature Club, Hatoful Boyfriend) are also on Steam and usually better than their anime counterpart, if they have an anime counterpart.
Evangelion
Cowboy Bebop
Then move onto movies
Here also a link to get you decked out with a random starter waifu: mywaifulist.moe
Oh, and learn Japanese.
